I saw a reference in another thread that is triggering this one. A person said when she gets down to zero nic, she is done vaping. She wasn't going to replace one thing with another.

I can't be a part of this discussion, because I chose to start zero nic vaping as a non smoker.

If you are a smoker weaning off with vaping, when you get down to zero nic, what is your plan? Stop vaping or continue?

I already gave up all the other mood altering substances of my misguided youth ~LOL~

I have absolutely NO intention of ever giving up the last three..

Caffeine
Nicotine
Bourbon

Besides...Bourbon is a food group isn't it?

Bourbon is just a cheap imitation of a proper thing, a clone if you will and a very bad one at that!! Drink the real stuff.

Going down to 0 nic would not be a pleasant vape for me. I've tried 6mg and it was so "blah", even 9 mg was pushing into the "blah" zone. I'm quite content at my 12mg level and plan on staying here. 0 nic would change my vape experience so much that it wouldn't be worth vaping anymore and I don't want to quit vaping.

+1......Yes, bourbon and good dark beer are in the " if I don't have some I am gonna KILL some poor unsuspecting fool" food group.

Same group as nicotine and chocolate.

Carry on!

When I started vaping my plan was to slowly reduce nicotine hopefully getting down to zero then stop vaping, it is still my long term goal.
I don't & haven't put any pressure on myself as to time frames for stepping down nic levels or stopping all together. I started in the 30's now mostly vape 6mg sometimes 4mg which to me seems like reasonable progress.

I smoked for 40+ years, if it takes 3 or 5 or even 10 years to also quit vaping IMO that's a huge win in just the amount of cigarets I didn't smoke in that time.

Just cause it's made on this side of the pond?

~lol~

you know what they say about opinions...

Not just your side of the pond, the Irish clone it s well and I have heard that there are Japanese clones but I haven't tried them. At least the clones are easy to recognise due to the "E" something missing from the vaping world.

Yeah a couple months after I first quit and started vaping I moved down from 18 to 12 to 6 to 0 and I predicted I would quit because there was no point to vaping 0...but I like vaping and I just kept doing it. Now I just keep 0 and 6 around, dont really feel a need to stop. But I could if I wanted to and thats the important thing.

I'm down to 3mg nic after almost 3 years vaping. I will continue vaping until I decide to stop (if ever). I'm not putting myself through any unnecessary pressure to do one thing or another.
