Although I am not the OP, this topic was very helpful to me. I received the Aspire NX75-A and the lost vape Mirage today. The Mirage is a bit big compared to my 18650 mods but it is small for a 21700 mod. Now I just need to buy a 21700 to get the full potential from it. Any recommendations of a 21700 for a tootle puffer who vapes between 8-12 W? I'm currently using a Samsung 30Q with the adapter that was included. The NX75-A is as nicely manufactured (CNC machined from a block of aluminum) as I had anticipated (thanks to feedback from @vapdivrr !). It's a shame that more mods are not build with the same (over the top?) manufacturing. But it seems that mods that resemble props from the Predator movies are the thing these days--haha!

Mooch will be updating the below table in a few days, so you may want to wait for the update for his latest recommendations.

Your choice, but it seems your issue is with the shipping companies and US Customs, and not with JAC Vapour.

There have been multiple issues with these 2 purchases. 1) Their Checkout system would not discount 10% of the cost of my first order, because it repeatedly said the coupon code I was given by them, wasn't valid. Had to go through 2 lengthy Chat Sessions the next day, send them a copy of the email they'd sent to me containing the code, etc... to get that applied to reduce my cost. 2) Selected and paid $22.94US for 1 method and it shipped by a different slower method, than someone who chose a $13US method and received it in 5-6 days to the US. 3) Neither order was shipped within the time period they state they will be...on their own website. 4) Jac Vapour selects which carrier(s) to use for international shipping. Buyers have no choice of carrier. It is their responsibility to select one that does at least provide Tracking that is accurate and updated more often than every 5-7 days.

I talked to a rep. at the Federal Information Center by phone this afternoon, and explained what was happening with my packages. She said it sounded "odd" to her, that identical packages have gotten through US Customs with no problems, to other buyers of the identical items. She then provided me with the number to contact US Customs tomorrow, to see what info than can hopefully provide about the package that I was told was "rejected" by them.

I've ordered other vaping related items from vendors in England, France, and China and had no problems with those companies, my orders, their shipping methods, nor US Customs. Strange that this is happening with this 1 company!

I agree that it is indeed strange. I sincerely hope the issue is solved to your satisfaction. The JAC DNA75W is truly a great mod and I hope that you get to experience it soon. :)

@Vape Magoo - An update for my packages:

I still do not have my 2 Jacs that I ordered on Oct. 15th and paid $22.94US for S/H. Still showing the same thing they have since last Thursday! They're in York, PA waiting for handoff to USPS!

My 2nd order (the really good deal for 2), placed on Oct.17th, still hadn't shown any movement as of this AM...since its last scan in GB last Tuesday. So I got in a Chat with JV Customer Service rep. Heather. After many posts back and forth with her, and some checking she did on her end...she says even though there were no scans since last Tuesday....my package made it to US customs and was rejected, and is being sent back to them. No info. available on why it was rejected! Wants to know what I want them to do...try again or refund me!

Now, the only difference between what I ordered Oct. 15th and on Oct. 17th... is that I ordered an extra battery, to qualify for the special deal on Oct. 17th. I'm wondering if that 1 extra battery (that wasn't needed for the 2 mods since they each came with one)...was what caused the problem. Or...since no scans show the package even leaving GB, nor making it to the US, nor being rejected...maybe it didn't ever make it out of GB at all, despite what I was told. Or...did too many people order that "special" to get 2 Jacs, and they were losing too much money...so they recalled the packages? Something just seems very "fishy" to me with all of this, especially since it's happened to others who've ordered the "special deal", too.

I know 1 thing for sure though....I'll never place another order with Jac Vapour when this is all said and done.
I have informed delivery too. I’ve found that if I go to Usps tracking and request text/ email for everything the package does, suddenly it starts moving. Maybe it makes them go hunt it down, or coincidence...who knows, but it’s been pretty consistent

Edit... just saw your update :(

I love my Squid Detonator. Had an Armour Pro, which I passed on to a friend. Wasn’t my cup of tea, and the battery door issues made me leery since I use an external charger. I usually run between 12-14 watts

Oh, yes. Those were the good old days. A recommendation of "Just get a Provari!" would be the beginning of a 30 page thread debating the pro's and cons of buying a $200 Provari.

Another saying that Provari owners would say was, "Buy once, cry once." What that meant was you might cry because of the initial cost of a Provari, but you would soon realize that it was going to work and last for decades of use. By comparison, some folks would repeatedly buy the same cheap Vamo because it would either break or stop working. You were going to end up spending the same amount of money over time, so would you rather buy once or multiple times?

Why are Provari's so Expensive?
Is the Provari Still Worth It?

There used to be dozens and dozens of these threads on ECF. Since Provape closed, they are no longer available for reading.
Dear, this is old, but let me digress. Again.
I yet have to find the Eleaf or Joyetech mod that failed. Mi evic mini has been working nonstop since march 2016. And every single Joyetech mod that I've owned has worked like a charm. So unless you want super ultra accurate TC and W control, get any of those.

I'm looking into buying a new regulated mod that takes one replaceable battery in 18650, the smallest possible mod and would want it to have an accurate chip too. I don't know what to look for in this category being that I haven't purchases too many mods in the recent past, aside from the Vaporesso Swag kit which is small too. If anyone can recommend the top 3, good for price but also for quality and durability I would really appreciate it. Thank you:)

Based on your criteria, my subjective opinion is:

  1. JAC Vapour Series B
  2. Evic Primo Mini (aka "BME") :D
I'm struggling for a 3rd because I don't actually own what I'm thinking to recommend (based on your price/quality reference). I'm inclined to say the new Aegis Mini (assuming you don't mind an internal battery). Their reputation has been strong, and the mod fits your description.

Everything else in my head is pricey (Dicodes, Stratum, etc.). Since the Swag is too small, that knocks Pico out. Besides, I've had a couple go south to date, so they'd probably not be on my recommended list anyway. That being said, I do like them a lot (along with the Swags).

Vaping. It's personal. :vapor:

I did get mine Saturday that was sent via free shipping on 10/15.

Definitely agree you did not get the shipping service you paid for. This is what I got for shipping the first time for $13, it may have been the premium shipping. But what you got was Landmark (BPost).
2018-10-12 12:24 ******, ******, Delivered, ****** -> Your item was delivered at 12:24 pm on October 12, 2018 in ******. The item was signed for by ******.

2018-10-10 00:24 Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
2018-10-10 00:24 UNITED KINGDOM, COVENTRY PARCELFORCE, Processed Through Facility
2018-10-09 13:53 UNITED KINGDOM, Acceptance

On the second s-l-o-w shipping through Landmark I just received this is what I noticed;
There is a second address/shipping label over the original.
The second label has a return address of:
Interparcel LTD
1 Scrivner Drive
Suite 5
Cheektowaga, NY 14227

At the bottom, over that is a USPS tracking label.

Under that is the original, Hermes Interparcel/Landmark Global address label and the return address is BPost International Heston, Middlesex.

It is actually over valued at GBP 120. Contents: Electronics.

It looks like these packages do not go through what we are use to as normal international mail.

Looks like they are shipped to the U.S. with no U.S. postage, cleared through customs and then given USPS postage and tracking.

I do not think your package was rejected by customs for batteries. Customs does not care, they are not prohibited or restricted items. Batteries are issues for carriers, primarily concerning airmail (restricted), they need to be ground shipped if using USPS.

The seller has to carry the responsibility of the carrier chosen. It is a major component and cost of the sale. Mistakes do happen and no carrier is 100%, 100% of the time. But I do consider BPost a poor choice. Not disclosing the carrier and method lacks proper information for customer choice. Sending your first package using the wrong shipping method a major blunder by JAC.

It sounds like they have not even admitted they made that mistake. You are owed a refund of the premium shipping cost even from the worse company, they did not give you the option you paid for, that is a no brainer. A decent company would see that your first order was fulfilled ASAP even at an additional cost to them.

I actually found the HCigar Nano pretty nice. Not crazy over chrome, but it's ok. It is prone to micro scratches (I put 1 in with a fingernail trying to see if I could get a speck off the surface). If I could get the Nano in the same silver and finish type as the Primo Mini I would chose it over the Series B. As it is I find the Nano and the Series B a toss up.

Because it takes the 21700 that takes it out of the smallest category. I might be shortsighted, but I do not want a multi battery option. So far I have not seen a 75C that was only 18650. That is why I got both the Series B and HC Nano.
^^^ This. If there had been a single-18650 75C, it would have had a look in. But not this 2x700 stuff. The Series-B and HC Nano are about as big as I'll go for box mods. Two batteries? Sure - in a stays-at-home tube mod!

I suppose it is a matter of perspective. For me the Jac Vapor and Lost Vape Mirage are both stay at home size. The Jac Vapor Series B is 88 mm and Lost Vape Mirage is 93mm. IMO, neither of them is small, especially compared to the OP's Swag that is 75mm.

The Mirage is light without a battery. I'm currently using an 18650 with an adapter. I don't know if the light weight of the mod would make up for the additional weight of a 21700.

Since the Swag is too small, that knocks Pico out. Besides, I've had a couple go south to date, so they'd probably not be on my recommended list anyway. That being said, I do like them a lot (along with the Swags).

DPLongo misread. The OP said that the Swag was "small too" not "too small". The Swag is around 75mm tall which is much smaller than Series B (13mm taller).

...aside from the Vaporesso Swag kit which is small too...

OOOPS!!!! Thanks S25!!!

My JACs travel with me, but that's a personal decision. Sometimes my Provi Ti is in my pocket, even in 18650 mode.

Swags & Picos are great travelers, as are the Evic Mini Primo (or whatever they're called). I'll always call them "BME" (thanks, Puf!).

The latter is slightly taller than the Pico/Swag, but still quite light.

Here's a quick size comparison.

The blue tape stuck to the Mirage shows the height of the Jac Vapour Series B. There's only 5mm difference in size between them although the Mirage holds a bigger 21700 battery.

The Pico is what I typically carry away from home unless I'm using an ultra portable device like the Breeze or a pod like the Myblu. The Pico is 70.8mm tall but part of that height is only the cap for the battery on 1 side so your atomizer sits even lower.
