VG = MORE VAPOR ,,, how ever not necessarily better, most use a mix of both PG/VG however I do use all VG,, you will net a bit more flavor mixing with PG though but like I said most use a mix like 80pg/20vg or 70/30 or 50/50 ,,, you have to experiment to see what you like best, that's the bottom line no matter what you here.

PG vapor is what hospitals use to deliver inhaled medications, even to lung transplant patients.

PG is thin, lets through the most flavor, most nicotine TH, most nicotine irritation and makes thinner looking vapor

VG is thick, dulls everything PG lets through and makes thicker looking vapor

Most people use blends. In slim ecig stuffing cartomizers I use 20% or less VG for a thin juice that keeps the stuffing airflow good for a week. On an atomizer I use up to 50% VG because a couple of juices I like only come as 50/50. tanks and reservoir cartos are happy with 20-30% VG, may leak more with 100% PG, may be able to use some 50/50 juices. Some vendors thin their high VG juices so it depends on that too.

When I bought my first ecig, I bought mainly PG with a small bottle higher nic and a small bottle lower nic and VG. That way if I needed less nicotine or less hit I could use the lower juice or mix it with the others. My tongue got a bit sore from nicotine in the 100% PG but the hit was right. Since I was using an atomizer I tried 70PG/30VG juices and liked them a lot. In cartomizers (which I mostly use now) I found 20% or less VG worked better for me.

I prefer 100% VG. I have slight allergic reactions to PG, it feels like it clogs up my lungs and and makes it hard for me to breath. Also I have no source to site this information, just something I read somewhere, but I heard that If you vape lots of PG frequently it can cause harm to your kidneys. Ive had kidney stones already (not from vaping PG), so I stay clear of it. If anyone can back me up on this or prove me wrong id love to know if it's really is true.

70pg/30vg or 80pg/20vg is a poular mix. Gives you lots of vapor and TH. It's what a lot of juice vendors recommend. You need to experiment to what works best for you and your setup. I run and too much VG and I have a heavy feeling in my chest. Others have mentioned this in the Health Section but it could be anecdotal.

Dormouse, how can you say PG makes thicker vapor ? Maybe that's a typo, VG obviously makes a thicker white vapor then PG all day long.

I prefer VG. PG is derived from petroleum and some people are allergic to it on various levels. VG is derived from plants.

PG will give you more throat hit, VG will give you more vapor but is thicker. I haven't noticed a real difference in taste but you will probably want to add something to give the juice a little kick if you go 100% VG.

I use my EMDCC's with juice that's advertised as 100% VG and only a couple juices have given me any problems- the juices that gave me problems were all from americaneliquidstore and are great in the eGo-T but they are a thicker VG that didn't do well with the EMDCC. Liberty flights VG juices are pretty thin and work great in the EMDCC's.

I like the flavor of most of the 100% VG juices I have, for a while I thought I was PG sensitive as I couldn't stand the smell/taste of some of the PG juices I had but there must be another chemical used that I cannot stand because I like the juice I got from greenhouseone that wasn't supposed to be 100% VG

If that was a typo I fixed it before you quoted it. What you quoted me saying is PG makes thinner vapor

If you have some VG in the blend it makes thicker vapor.

I would love use more VG if it didn't gunk up my cartos. The standard resistance cartos I use on slim ecigs work best with 20% or less.

The OP said VG makes less vapor (incorrect)
