vaping has always been at a crossroads.. are we ex-smokers or vaper? Are we condemning tobacco or are we advocating our right to vape? It's a tough position to be in, and new vapers, young vapers, are in the most difficult position possible. Also they don't care, they just want to be cool. Us old folks don't care what we vape, the stupidest pipe-bomb looking things are fine with us.

Let's all pretend we are 18. What would be cool to vape? I guess an eGo type battery with a stardust clearomizer. All black and clear. Anything cooler?

When it comes to life..

Seriously? Provari is cool with the youngsters? I mean, I don't know, I'm 30. But you quoted a 15 year old cartoon, Southpark, which is cooler than any of the previous replies, so I trust you more than anyone else so far. Who is the Jerry-curl black dude by the way?

Why did you spell it "Eye-fone"?

Hey, just pretending I'm 18 (as you suggested) and recently graduated Valedictorian from the public school system...

Hey man, or chica, its all good. I can't wait until I get old. No one can give me .... about what I wear, or vape, and I can probably get away with stealing things when I'm old. That'd be fun. But why did you even reply to a thread called 'what's cool?" I'm 30 and I know I don't know what's cool because I'm too old.

Ha I figured you were in your 60's carnal lol.. anyways that is from the Eddie Murphy classic "Coming to America" it also features a young Arsenio Hall. South park is still on the air friend.

You have your pets as your avatar. This leads me to believe you gave up being cool a long time ago.

Why did you spell it "Eye-fone"? It's an iPhone. I think even Microsoft spell-checker recognizes it as "iPhone" at this point. Grow up.

Let's see, how to comment on those posts and still remain civil .....

And another one in the exact same tone? Wow.

An interesting study in interpersonal communication here.

So is The Simpsons! That doesn't mean young people watch it. Arsenio Hall was awesome, when I was like 11 I would stay up to watch his late night show. I think I still have shoulder injury, actually. I didn't realize he did things before that show, though.

Anyway, I think we've demonstrated why vaping doesn't have a future. People under 30 don't care. Smoking is no longer something everyone does. Some kids do, but not many, and only those who have terrible family structures or are trying desperately to be different. It's not a mainstream thing. I think vaping will either become a "cool" thing kids do, or will evaporate once old people die. I'd rather hope it's the latter, but as a vaper, I can't help but admit I'm okay with the former.

Here let me help:

"I'm not cool and that's fine, I'm happy with my life and no longer interested in what is cool or not cool, because I am old like you. Redbucket, you seem way too interested in what is cool. Just vape on brother!"

There, I helped!

That really didn't help me much; in large part, because I couldn't quite decipher it. Can you try again to explain just what you mean?

Follow-up question; do you see anything in your last few posts that might be taken by the recipients of the comments as somewhat offensive, and in a fashion that might make a typical person feel slightly insulted?

Yes. I do see how my last few posts might be taken by the recipients of the comments as somewhat offensive, and in a fashion that might make a typical person feel slightly insulted.

Also, people who have posted things to show they were cool posted Southpark and Arsenio Hall screen captures. So I assume the recipients of the comments are okay with media that might be received as somewhat offensive, and in a fashion that might make a typical person feel slightly insulted.

OK, that is what I would consider "good". Do you think it might be worthwhile to consider what it is that prompted you to say things that you agree are likely to be taken by a typical person as somewhat offensive, and make them feel slightly insulted?

Do you think that it makes it OK because they like happen to like Arsenio Hall, or Southpark? I like the Three Stooges, but I don't use that as a rationale for poking people in the eye with my finger, or hitting them over the head with a shovel, so I don't quite understand your reasoning.

And hey, I'm not out to be a douche, and my intent is not to make you feel bad, although sometimes it takes a little pain before things get better. My goal in life is to make people happy as best I can. You might just be going through a tough time, and maybe taking a little bit of it out on other people, which would not be a first in the course of human history.

Maybe just try to go easy on folks; a nice side benefit of that is that they'll generally go easier on you in return.

To keep on topic; this thread is about "what's cool". Being nice to people, and saying and doing things that makes their lives better, is "cool" IMO. (That, and Snoop Dog lol)
