Retired at the ripe old age of 44 about 5 years ago. Now I'm a bum! To keep busy I cycle daily and go about 30-40 miles a day. Some days I get crazy and will go 50-60.. It keeps me out of trouble.. :)

I just got into cycling recently. I ran pretty frequently up until about a year ago when I had hip and knee surgery....didn't do ANY physical activity for about 11 months and put on about 35 pounds...needless to say, I'm not on your level yet. lol

Retired double dipper. Was a grunt with a shovel that could read and then a Land Surveyor for another twenty years. As a surveyor I always thought that someday I would get to find some land that only the natives had visited. Never worked out, I would think I was there then,,, find old beer cans!
Gotta hate finding old beer cans--New beer cans are much better!:thumb:

You got me beat, I retired at the ripe old age of 52.

I retired from 27 years in law enforcement. Had enough, and figured I had enough into my pension, so I left. Now I am my own boss with a very small lawncare business (if I can call it a business). I cut about 13 residential yards for people I know. The pension pays the bills, the lawncare is my mad money.
