I just got my first PV today (306a) and the first cart was great. The taste not so much......but it was one of those nasty tobacco generic ones that comes with the kit. Anyways, vapor production was amazing. After the cart ran out I used some Red Bull juice to refill a new, fresh cart that I bought separately. I got 2 or 3 great draws after the initial primer puff but after the first 3 draws....vapor production has severely decreased. I used 3 drops to fill the cart. If anybody can help me out it would be great.....oh and I was using a freshly charged batt and the atty is brand new so those can't be the issue. Can attys die after 1 cart?? Hope not. Thanks in advance.

Attys can die by just looking at them crosseyed. Make sure you have spares. The low vapor is probable from the juice. Most juice dosen't give clouds of vapor. You may have to mix in a little VG to increase vapor production.

I don't think 3 drops is enough to fill a cart but I haven't seen your cart either..I put 2 drops straight onto the atomizer when I vape but if you fill a cart you want to make sure you can see the liquid right at the top of the filler, it shouldn't look dry..

Ok I don't think I put enough juice into the badboy. I'm off to the afternoon shift at work so i'll let you know how it went

Well, I use a 501, which maybe has a bigger cart than yours? (not sure) It usually takes me a lot more than 3 drops to initially fill a blank cart, and then only 3 or so to top it off after inital fill. My guess would be that you didn't fill it enough, but if your cart is really small, or you could obviously tell that it was full than I suppose it must be something else.

I've heard that attys are quite unpredictable and can last anywhere from a day to 4 months -- the two I have haven't given me any problems over the past week, though I noticed that my 501 took a day or two to "break in". At first it would give me a ton of vapor for just few hits, then not much unless I topped off again, but after a day or two, it started working great!

Not sure if any of these things apply to your model, but good luck with it!

You only use 2 or 3 drops when dripping liquid directly onto the atomizer. To fill a cart you will need much more.

Fill the cart till the filler looks nice and wet. If you fill it so much that there is liquid pooling up on the top then it is filled to much. take the corner of a napkin and gently dab it into the pool of liquid to absorb the extra.

Good tip for refilling 306 carts. Get a paper clip and put it through the hole in the cart. Then push up and the inner cart/filler will come to the top for easier filling. If you just drip down into it, it's hard to tell if the cart is full or not. Also, you'll end up sucking juice.

The 306 is also great for dipping because of the exposed atty. Get a soda pop cap, put some juice in it and dip the atty in it. Put a blank cart on *one without the inside cart/filler* and vap away. When the vap fades, redip it.

Later on you can move up to a 510. The 306 atty's work with the 510 batteries.

Enjoy,
D

This is mostly what I have been doing but i use a dropper and just put 2 drops straight on the atty. Seems to work better for me.

Sorry for the double post but I have also used this method just with a cotton ball.
