A dank basement in SE Minnesota
I was thinking about the reaction of violently anti-smoke/anti-vape types and how such overreaction might be prevented.

I have started refering to my PV as a "flavor stick to help me stop smoking cigarettes." I never say the word 'nicotine,' as this often causes a knee-jerk reaction from some rabid Anti types. They are so freaked out by the idea of secondhand smoke that trying to explain to them that they are not endangered by a small plume of vapor which condenses harmlessly and almost immediately, would be futile. I often expand on things a bit by cursing everyone involved in the marketing and sale of tobacco from Sir Walter Raleigh forward. LOL

I think terms like e-cigareete, personal vaporizer, nicotine inhaler and the like simply give the rabid Antis another reason to try and infringe on my freedoms. So, "Flavor Stick to Help Me Quit Smoking" it shall be.

What do you all think?

Good description, but a little long for me to remember. I agree with your comments on the other terms though, especially e-cigarette. All people hear is the word "cigarette" and they equate the ecig to analogs. Same thing with the "nicotine inhaler." I also think a better term to describe the ecig would help the cause. I just can't come up with any ideas...I'm not very creative. But I'm sure someone else on the forum will come up with something.
