What's so great about Provaris?

my marlboros didn't even have a screen to tell me whether the cherry was lit or not, but i held on to them damned things for 24 years. often times i had to flick my bic 30 or 40 times to get it to light and start all over again when the wind blew it out just as the paper past the packed tobacco fizzed out.

sometimes i wonder how people who complain that the one button interface is outdated or too much work even get their wicks saturated or their toppers filled and/or screwed on. sometimes i wonder how they made it through the 80's when half the alarm clocks still had flip-face numbers and an actual bell. how did these people get to work on time?

of course i'm being facetious, but at times this logic seems almost relevant.

These are the people who can't vape without VW...

So you're saying that people who prefer to change their power setting depending on their delivery system and liquid don't know how to vape? This is news to me good sir.

If it is too much trouble to change power with 1 button once per topper, they need a lot more help than 3 buttons can provide...

So you admit that people who know how to vape have a reason to change their power setting- good start. Now ask yourself, is a simpler way to change this setting a BAD thing?

I change power settings just fine, ohm's law is neither new to me or very difficult to learn. By setting voltage up and down you are essentially doing the samething as setting your wattage up and down.

I don't doubt your knowledge of ohm's law- I agree it's dead simple. Changing wattage in 0.1 increments actually allows for finer voltage control than changing voltage in 0.1 increments though. You can use ohm's law to prove this to yourself [emoji6]

Yes. I don't want to accidentally press the incorrect button and change the power. Some of us actually drive manual shift cars. Imagine that...

To lock wattage adjustment, hold down (+) and (-) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. You can actually press them both with the same finger. Now, tell me again how many button presses are required to change the voltage on a Provari?

That sounds like a lot of extra work. 3 buttons isn't enough... I only have to press 1 button...

Funny how most people can adapt to whatever interface their mod uses. I can change the settings of my one button Provari as fast as you can on your three button box mod. You adapt. It becomes second nature.

Explain to me the steps involved in changing the voltage on a Provari. I believe it involves several button presses. With any of my DNA 30s I just hit the (+) or (-) button (one button press). This is why a three button interface is vastly superior.

Didn't you state earlier in this thread that you know enough about the ProVari to make a good judgement or something like that?

Yet you can't even navigate the simple one button menu system?

You can adjust your DNA device all you want... it's still going to be anywhere from .2 to .5 volts off each time you fire it...:)

Oh, and don't put the battery in backwards or you will burn that little fragile chip up.

But if you wanna sacrifice accuracy and quality for inaccuracy and bells & wistles, thats your choice.

I get the point. One can never have enough buttons...

Just like bacon.

It was time for the obligatory bacon post.
