What advantage do you get when you start running sub ohms?
any advice on a good mechanical mod, possibly a clone so it's cheaper.
also how do I know what batteries to run to make sure I'm safe?

Same as buying a motorbike instead of a car; get from here to there a whole lot cheaper, but you better be ready for it; not everybody can ride a motorbike..... safely
As I understand it, all the cool kids (like 53 year old me) are now opting for .9 ohm coils, with smacking flavour foremost. Clouds are abundant.
Sub subohming was so yesterday.
I think the best part is how fast it wears down your batteries
Can some one recommend me a great mech mod and good rda to do some cloud chasing? (I have an trident clone) maybe that is sufficient enough
I like a warm vape with short pulls. my .6 braided and .5 twisted 28ga give me that.
as far device
clone mod- sentinel m16 and astro clone are my favorites
RDA- grand vapor trident clone
Batteries- sony vtc 4 30A
also will need a multimeter to check your builds resistant and make sure there isnt a short.
but you can get a good vape off a regulated device as well. I made a 1.5ohm twisted 32ga coil and at 6v it hit about the same as the mech.
idk, i tend to not need to swap my batteries as frequently with my sub build on a nemmy or reo, compared to how frequently i would have to swap batts on my svd... higher mah lower amp batts on the svd too...
i think it might have to do with a more satisfying vape and not needing to vape as much... hmmm
I rip 2 sec hits on my mech with a super nano single build @ 0.3Ω, cloud my whole room, can't see the keyboardWhat about a resistance device made for coils? I'd imagine that would work as well?
That's what I want, to be able to take 2 seconds hits and still blow out massive clouds with a good flavor
On my sigelli I have to take about 4-5 second drags and I'm still not blowing the clouds I'd like to be
