i recently have been getting into LR atomizers for dripping (vs. SR attys for VV vaping). I found that my eGo pass/thru 650 mah batt does great for a backup or just having multiple PV's on hand.
i've heard that some LR attys are not good for eGo batts but i haven't had a problem with it so far.
I looked around at some of the replace-able batt eGo's too.
What i am looking for is a reliable, perhaps larger battery for longer time off the charger or pass thru, that can take any 510 atomizer.
There are SO MANY different ones... drives me nuts.
This is for dripping LR atomizers...

Well, there are the larger Ego batteries in the 900-1000 mah range. Just a half inch or so longer than the standard 650 mah.

Also, there is the E-Power by Joyetech. Available in either 18650 or 14650 battery size.

If you are willing to try something a bit larger with a replaceable battery, check out the Bolt at Crystal Clear Vaping. Comes with one battery, but you will need a charger. Works very well with LR cartos or attys.

To be honest I don't care for LR atomizers for dripping - I use debridged 306 attys on KGO batteries and although the ~2.5 ohm attys work pretty darned well, I have a couple of 1.7 ohm 306 attys that can go from great to horrendous in about one hit.

I think the reason for this is the batting in a carto does a better job of regulating the heat from the coil, and if there's no batting a LR coil can burn joose fairly quickly.

But - that's just my opinion. KGO batteries are pretty hot and that might contribute to why I prefer SR attys for dripping with them.

turns out there are many joy and joye and genuine joy variations not to mention Riva and other clones (some are better than others), and some have different voltage.
I hear lately that "genuine" is the best, and they are regulated at 3.3v... some spin offs have been faulty. It's a long story... i just read from a gotvapes.com thread.
For me it's been all about the atty choices / differences lately, and feeling a good eGo batt (or two) is great for having around, at a decent price.
Hoosier has some nice looking e powers that are 3.7v, but gotvapes is discontinuing e power due to too many probs with the switches.
Keeping an LR wet enough without flooding it is the trick.
I just dont want to burn out the batt ...

Not a fan of Joyetech (or other regulated) batteries here although I might consider the new eGo 18650. I personally think the 1100mAh KGO battery whups the tar out of anything made by Joyetech but sadly, the new KGO batteries are PWM batteries as well. I'm still waiting for some voltage information on them.

drip well, juice well; it's a little like moat or well around the connector to catch any leaking juice. It's like a real useful thing for dripping because you can wipe it out and you don't get juice all down the button or the body of the pv...yuck. Some juice wells and attys are designed that you can just suck ong the atty and the juice will go into the atty from the well (into the holes on the connector... i.e. The new Precise, the Reo drip well or most of the high end VV mods have them...
Pardon my ignorance Ukeman, but just what is a drip well?

The Hoosier e power eGo is a true 3.7 v eGo... where a genuine joye eGo is regulated 3.3v.
This is a case where you would use SR attys. The 3.3 is perfect for LR attys.
Either way, i think regulated is a great thing; you can match your atty to the voltage and get terrific vapes.

I got to go to Hoosier and check out the different options he has... i think Hoosier is a really good vendor and he has good stuff and CS.

Just a minor nit to pick. With all the existing confusion about eGo (Joyetech) and Ego (the "Ego-type" devices made by others), and now e-Power - I just want to point out that I'm pretty sure that the e-Power is made by Smoktech. Soon to add to the confusion is the apparent fact that Joyetech is now coming out with replaceable-battery power units (just an 18650 model so far, I believe - 3.5 volts) that are very similar in function to the Smoktech e-Power.
