I really like my mini protank 2 so far. I had to flip the rubber grommet to eliminate the dry/burned hit issues though. Good to go after that. I'm beginning to look into rebuilding my own coils at this point.

I was a little skeptical (my nature anyway) about building my own. It turns out, it is easy. I wasted the first one. The resistance was too low to be useful. The second is working terrific. I used a cotton wick. Try it. It's fun.

When I first started out I started with CE4s, and I had alot of problems out of them. I myself am not a CE4 fan. Even though nicer ones may be a little higher, their quality is way better and will last way longer! I am using 1.5ohm smoktech dual coil cartomizer from madvapes. They last me for about 2 weeks to a month sometimes and are only a dollar something! I also use vision 2ml vivi nova tanks, madvapes did have them on sale. There are so many great tanks out there! Kanger evod is a great tank! I have one and love it! I used the same coil in it for over a month and a half! There are alot of great ideas posted my fellow members! Good luck and do not be afraid to ask any questions! We will help you in any way that we can! Drop those CE4s! Lol :)

Got to say kanger protank 2 is my go to tank always. Unless sampling new creations from my DIY. Never had a leak issue or coil issue not sure why so many say that have. User error I suspect but not sure. To each is their own try as many as you can to find the right fit and what is going to be the easiest for you to work with refill and repair/ trouble shoot nothing is perfect just take your time when cleaning filling and messing with your tanks. And no what juice your using so you have the correct tank so you don't wind up cracking one accidentally. Good luck an Vape on :)

Still a beginner myself and went with the single evod coil; gives me a good choice of tanks.
Just trying to keep things simple till I get more time under my belt.

Fits my :
Anyvape Davide
Anyvape Davide mini
Protank 2 mini
and of course my traveling Evods.
( guess it fits the unitank also, but don't own one.Yet)

I love my kanger products but got to say I hate dual coils I don't no they just are way to much for me and I get better taste and performance out of the standard protank 2 coil. I do have both but won't buy myself any more personal devices with dual coils that's how much I dislike them but that just me and my personal preference to each is their own

Hi,

My wife and I started vaping about 4 months ago. We got an inexpensive starter kit with vision spinner, CE4 tank, and charger. We've already had to buy about 8 CE4/5 atomizers and have had problems with all of them. Only two work now. But then they only cost $3 at my our ecig shop. I know opinions differ, but which is the best tank to buy that will last for some time and that the coil can be easily replaced (cost around $10-12.)? I'm not interested in mods and giant tanks, not yet anyway :). Also, where can I get really reliable batteries at reasonable cost.

Thanks and happy vapin',
Randy Boulter

Having gone through all but the aero tank on the top end of price points, Aspire Nautilus is hands down my fav. The cost of replacement heads is the only draw back. I have been getting about a week out my heads. Can get another 3 days or so by cleaning and dry burning but that only works for so long and flavor deteriorates.

I'm a Noob so I'll display my ignorance. I think my Innokin iClear16 dual coil is considered a CE5, right??

Since no one has given a +1 for the CE5, I guess I'll do it. I started with a Evod and then was shown the dual coil. No issues, no leaks, no problems. I used it for awhile and bought a 2nd for my other favorite flavor. Very happy.

Everyone else is complaining. What am I doing right??? :p
