So I have a FT Evod, I really like it, I was looking at them online and seen the Kanger MT3, and the kanger Evod, They all 3 look just a like is there a difference at all? Do you know if the coils/heads will interchange between them? I do not want to order from FT, they take to long I was going to go with Discount there fast shipping.

We need some comparison sheets around about the different ones, The T5 looks just like a CE5 to me, but with a T2 head/wick... Not sure.

Well looking at them more the Kanger Evod has a 1.7ml tank
The MT3 has a 2.4ml tank

I have not tried a Evod but....

The MT3 and T3 is are older versions with the base and coil as one piece. You CAN convert them to the NEW T3S style coil by using a TS3 base and coil. The T3S coils can supposedly be used in Evods and all Pro Tanks.

Evods and all Pro Tanks NOW use the same coil but they might vary in ohm rating. Older Evod coils are shorter and also work in the Pro Tanks but they are not supposed to work in a T3S. Pro Tank coils also do not work in the T3S, I have not tried yet to find out but i will as soon as i need to replace one.

Cant help you on the CE5 or T2. Ive never used them but the coils are not compatible with the PTs, T3Ss or Evod from what ive read. I think those are both top coil models.

Want a good cheap Kanger to vape?....get a T3S and some 2.2ohm coils. They normally come with 2.4s around here which are ok too. Its a cheap tank but easy to fill to the TOP for a bottom coil and the draw is nearly perfect IMO. You just cant replace the drip tip. Ive been trying out two for the last week roughly and its just a nice simple tank that works.

I have both FT and real Kangar EVODs. The FT ones are much less durable than the real ones. On three of them, the paint bubbled up and I had to removed it completely. They crack and cloud easier than the real ones. The heads don't seem to be an issue for me - it's the durability of the tank. My oldest Kanger evods are almost 5 months old - they are just starting to show light paint chips. The FT ones starting chipping within a week and then after a vodka soak, the paint bubbled off and came off altogether. I won't be getting FT evods anymore. I got my latest Kanger ones from Cravin Vapes. I also like the prices on them at Mt Baker.

Thanks, i will keep a eye on them, so far there good, i been busy with other things, Or normally i would already had pictures up, but my camera got broke, Anyhow. compared the two heads last night and the FT head is lots shorter then the Kanger one. the center post is just so much longer i didn't try to make them interchange but i am sure they wouldn't

I hope I have that right, I know one was long one was sort. I will try to get pics with labels soon. I will be ordering all of my Evods from DiscountVapers - Your source for savings on electronic cigarettes and accessories, Go-go eGo, vGo I really like this company he has stood beside his products and done right with me so far, plus i really not found any cheaper unless your buying 3+ at a time.

I really like the size of the Evod tanks, I am sure some wish there bigger but the size is great for me.. Now if i could only find a Pyrex tank the same size as the Evod.

Just curious why would you put the whole thing in Vodka? I have only ever used Vodka on the actual heads only.

On a side note, I now prefer the Smoktech ARO's from DiscountVapers to the EVODs. They hold more juice, seem to perform better, and are glass tanks instead of plastic so they are safe for all juices.

After vodka turned one of my CE5 tanks a whitish color I will never put a tank into Vodka again but i do put my tank into water.
I have also ran water over my heads to clean them then let them air dry for a couple of days before putting back together.

I have a ARO and hate it, its leaked so bad the Evod is nicer in my opinion I do not care of steel tips either, I do have well the wife has a Pro tank mini.

That has to be a head issue. The wife and I both have ARO's and not had a single leak of issue. On the other hand the wife gets lots of leaks and gurgles in her EVOD until I replace the "falvor wicks" with cotton yarn. That trick might also help you btw.

Guess it just wasn't ment to be, first one was cracked ( the glass juice was running out all over my hands) the company replaced it, and this one seems to work fine if I put juice in it and vape it but if i let it sit for say 10-20 mins then go to using it i get a mouthful of juice. I am not overfilling it so not sure whats going on.

I bought the aro 2.4ml a couple of weeks back, rewicked with cotton straight away and the only issue i have is a little gurgle when i am low on juice, otherwise it performs pretty well, the wife has the smaller aro(evod size-1.7ml) and she has had no issues at all. we are trying these as we love the evod but our pg heavy juice eats the evod case after a while so thought we'd try pyrex......impressed so far. Disappointed the heads are not the same as evods tho, aro fit evod but not the other way round. you must have a seal issue somewhere??

Eating the case, oh wow, well I use mostly VG but have been using some 50/50 and a 80/20 i think i like the 80/20 more seems to be more flavor.
I guess i do have a o ring not where ti should be if anyone had a really good close up picture they could post it be great.

This might help - select the pic you want and zoom in.

Smoktech ARO Pyrex Glass BCC - Stainless

It's also possible that the head is loose on the base, or, as said, the flavor wick is not right. Try replacing it with cotton?

PG tends to bring out more flavor, VG tends to produce more vapor. Find the ratio you like.

AFIK, it's not the VG that cracks tanks, but some flavors certainly create problems with poly. Hence the slow move to pyrex.

Sorry, wasn't paying enough attention to the thread. I soak all the pieces in vodka to get any residual flavors out of everything. I swap out flavors a lot. It just seems to make them cleaner. Rinsing them in water alone doesn't get all the juice out for me. I've not had any problems with real Kangers clouding up or cracking in vodka. I use the cheap stuff (and reuse it too.) Maybe that's why.

As you can see from this image, there are three seals, but if the juice is coming up through the "straw" then it would have to be leaking either around the very top cap seal or through the wick area. The other two seals seem like they prevent leaking from the bottom.

Maybe try removing that top cap and making sure the stem is firmly seating into the main body of the head just above the wick and that the wick is filling up that hole it sits in. Also when everything is put together look through the windows and make sure that top cap is making good contact with that center "straw" tube.

Thanks that is a really good pictures and that is how mine looks, the white cap looking thing on top then the part where the steam screws down to the base has a o ring on that part so when its screwed down u cant really see it. then it has the one below where it screws onto the base then the bigger one at the bottom that where the base meets the tank. I really do not know where its leaking from the steam is pressed on good to the head.
