Darn, I didn't know I had a cash crop on my property. Every April they show up in my pond and have a toad orgie. One on one, two on one, three on one. Nothing seems to phase them. Somewhere I have a picture of two of them that I pulled out two years ago. They were both dead and still attached. Must a been the ultimate pop.

Do they have Toad auctions in Iowa, perhaps I'll need to list my young ones on Craigslist? The things you learn on this side of the tracks..

sly, I'll think about your offer. I don't have alot of the 12mg snus on hand and had been holding the thunder long just in case. I went thru the first can fairly quickly but then never opened another one.

I thought I would be used to being back at work by now since I was on vacation last week but I'm not. I don't like it any better than I did before. Usually when I take a vacation, I come back to work refreshed and ready to conquer the world but not this time. I'm still getting my work done but it's not with alot of enthusiasm. It's been near 100 outside every day for about a week but it is supposed to let up this weekend. Maybe the heat has something to do with it. Maybe I'm just bored after 13 years at the same job.

There was a story abt Hell and the air conditioning that showed up there. Seems an Engineer was sent there by mistake. God was angry and asked the to return him immediately or he would sue the . The looked at God and asked " Where ya gonna get a lawyer?"

yeah im on week two...its feeling better , but now that the painkillers are gone , i worry.im not a big pill person though , so im happy they are gone , and ill be self medicating like usual...

I've never been in an accident any where near as serious as that but can sympathize with you having everyone counting on you. My wife has been staying home full time with the kids for the last 3-4 years and if I lost my job, I would be frantic. Luckily I have been able to keep my job thru this recession all though I may complain about it sometimes, you are correct that I am lucky to have it.

i did the same, i hated every second of it , but at least it let me support my family. my wife works midnights , so i had to do it all , take her to work , watch the baby at night , drive 12-18 hours a day , then come home and do it all over. along with cleaning the house and cooking....

So far my oldest best by date was April 15 on a roll of Lab 02. I'm working a can now and it's just fine. Tastes the same as the fresh 02 I got last Nov. or Dec.

I've given up on appeasing the neighbors. The truck in front of the house on my right hasn't moved in three months and the ones on my left have had a dead tree in their front yard for two years. It wouldn't be so bad if we lived in the country, but this is suburbia. Everyone else in the neighborhood is obsessive about lawn care and keeping their places looking good. Not sure how I ended up in between the two subdivision non-conformists, but mowing at 7AM Saturday morning gives me a warm fuzzy hoping that I annoy them as much as they do me.
