I think I'm going to have to break myself from the HM addiction and open up some of my other stuff. AllCo hit the blue button. It's either Starbucks coffee or it vaporizes the dork that bothers you all day and never seems to get work done. I don't remember which, but both are good.

Had an odd day yesterday.

A Detective from Phoenix at my door flashing a badge at about 11:30. He asked if I knew my next door neighbor (only one, we're on a corner). He's about 32, lives with g.f. and their 2 young kids and her 2 from a previous relationship for about 5 years there. Detective showed me an enlarged mug shot of the guy. "This guy your neighbor?" Yikes. Answered some questions about if he was home, and what he drove/where they parked (inside the garage).

The Detective waited in an unmarked car with blacked out windows on the street right in front of my front door until about 2:00. Must have given up and left and the neighbor came home from work 40 minutes later. Brother. No clue what he did and I'm not telling him they were here. I spent all morning running and peeking out the window to see if the unmarked car was still there, LOL. Nosy ol' me.

Tried calling my local Surprise City PD when I saw the neighbor come home, drive into his garage and close it. They told me they weren't here today, but it was a Phoenix City Detective (they knew the Phx. Detective was in their jurisdiction since Phx called and informed them they were there) so they told me to call Phoenix. The woman from Phx. PD asked me the name of the Detective. I had no clue (I just saw the big ol' Badge... ohhh shiny!!) and he didn't give me a card (Detective FAIL). Phoenix wasn't interested in the neighbor's name or anything. Just said no way to tell who was here since they had 3,000 detectives.

Seriously? Sighhh. Oh yeah, I feel safe.

Spent a quiet evening (hubby is on a biz trip in Vegas). Getting a new 50 gal. aquarium ready to transfer my 9 year old Koi fish into. Watched a bit of crappy TV (The Hell's Kitchen guy) with no channel changing going on every time a commercials on. Bliss. Mr. Handbasket is back tonight about 9pm so I'll savor seeing the remote gather a little dust until then.

A little LR801 vaping *Peeks outside my window* LOL
and some fresh hot coffee that's all... yawn

Wow Helen. You did have a bit of excitement yesterday. Kind of a little cloak and dagger. The guy probably has a bunch of unpaid parking tickets or something important like that. If they have 3000 detectives then they have to find something to keep them busy all day. You should work thru some of your snuffs just for the fun of it. Then you could give us a run down of each one if you felt like it.

Well it is only day 2 of this new snus journey, but I seem to be gravitating to, at least for today:

    Jakobsson Ice Fruit
    General White Mint

    Kinda like the bitter ones.

Vape is my own Bavarian Creme recipe (mix of Lorann and PA) on a 3.7V box mod with Boge carto. Sure am hitting it less since the snus came to town. :2cool:

Hi Kurt. I'll leave the iced fruit alone but the general mint is one of my favorites. I'm not big on the sweet liquids. About the only sweet one I like is 555. I did get back out a bottle of deuce that I got a long time ago today and still like it. It has a real citrus taste to it and delivers what I consider to be a pretty darn good throat hit for a 24mg liquid. I barely vape at all during work hours any more since I started using snus and snuff. Just a few hits here and there unless I go out for lunch. I like to vape while driving just like I used to enjoy smoking while driving.

It's a good thing this work day is over. I feel like I could strangle this guy that just ...... me off and not think twice about it. He's been on my bad side for quite some time and I have no doubt that before it's over, he and I will have it out.

Good morning. Here we are again, another Friday morning at work wishing it was the end of the day so it would be the beginning of the weekend. I don't know for sure but kind of feel like it's going to be a high use day for me. Time to get things started with:

    Thunder berry
    lemon grove/raspberry menthol mix
    coffee

Afternoon all :). Vacation's going ok, not super fantastic. No canoe trip, but we went camping at a state park. Again, not super fantastic. I usually take a couple twisters down the river for a few days, pack light and enjoy the rich's of our natural resources. That means I don't pack firewood, electric griddles or Gameboy's....like this time. Gee, might as well have stayed home........:glare:.

Just curious, is the 555 from MFS made by dekang or do they mix their own?

I'm not sure, hit. I know his unflavored is US and rumor has it he mixes his own, but I can't say it's been verified. The Dekang 555 I got from Litecig was boosted to 36mg before Shawn sent it to me and definitely didn't have as much flavor as MFS, which leads me to assume Chris is probably mixing his own. If I can find out from the horses mouth I'll let ya know.

That was a pretty good decision. I like that 15-20 minute to walmart myself. I like not having to worry about what my neighbors think of how I keep my lawn.

I like to think I'm helping keep my neighbors' property taxes in check :D.

Yeah, good to be back on the smokeless psych sofa. Comfy and good company. LOL

Hi ya Hellen :). You know that sofa is as much yours as anyone elses....well, 'cept that worn spot to your left that resembles .... cheeks. I kinda claimed that as my own (closest to the remote). Oh, and that "detective" was me. Kind of a hobby of mine really. I like to go door to door in strange neighborhoods and show pictures of people to their neighbors and ask incriminating questions to see the surprise on their faces. Fun stuff, ain't it ;).

    I guess I'm a hermit at heart,

Not me, I'm hermit through and through. Thankfully, the folks around here don't annoy me like "those normal people" out there.

just sitting here. its sunday afternoon and we have moved into my wifes parents house. its definately an adjustment

Oh yeah . That's the one.

Titus and I had our trial last weekend and we passed our Schutzhund 2!! Out of 100 possible points we got 97 in tracking, 96 in obedience, and 80 in protection (he was a bit naughty in protection but he's a confident powerful boy and has trouble restraining himself). LONG weekend but I am happy we passed!

:?:...but I thought that's what you girls looked for in a guy.

Welcome back TV. No I didn't strangle him but could have easily. This morning the same guy made a hundred dollar mistake. He was putting together a new welding machine for a customer and was too lazy to go get a pair of side cutters and decided to cut a cable tie with a utility knife. Well he slipped and cut thru the insulation on the welding gun so we had to replace it with another new one. What an idiot. I was just curious about the 555. I have been stuck on the 555 from nhaler for a long time but it only is offered up to 24mg so if I want it stronger then I have to bump it up with some 100mg unflavored.

Hello to MoeJoe. I haven't seen you post in a while. How the heck are you?

Helen, with your schedule I'm surprised you have time to post at all.

Has anyone seen V. I know he had a bunch of projects to do but am surprised that he hasn't been around in a while.

TV, I noticed that you and Wiz went on vacation at the same time. You guys weren't at the same lake were you?

LOL... Good to see you TV. Yeah, take a seat, *hands over the remote* I'll even try to ignore you flipping channels, but don't be surprised if I take it away from you after a while.

Oh yeah . That's the one.
Love the burn, so guess that's what I'll have to look for with new scents. I still have 3 more cans (and working on a bit more than 1/2 left from this current one) so it'll probably be a while before I dig too deep into anything else.

Helen, with your schedule I'm surprised you have time to post at all.
Things are a dull roar here. Mom's medication change worked wonders and for the most part, she's coming in clearly most days (and I changed a few other things that I won't go into detail about here, let's just say she isn't depending on Depends anymore and it's ended the anxiety over that).

Dad had a blood transfusion today (red cell count/white cell count really low) only 2 units, so he's feeling good and I didn't have to run with anyone to Doctors or anything today. His chemo is Monday. I have a feeling that it's the calm before the storm with those two... Oh well. What ever it is, it is, and I'll deal then. I'm very happy to be hanging with you guys and on the forum while I can and enjoying some quiet brain time.

Not a single ciggy today. Ahhh. Yay me!

Good morning everyone. That's great that you got a little quiet time today Helen. The no cigarette thing is cool too. I have to wonder if the one thing didn't have something to do with the other. I'm starting the morning off with a pretty good vaping session. I don't know why but felt like doing a bunch of vaping before getting my first portion of the day. So I'm rotating between:

    30mg tobacco menthol
    24mg 555
    24mg deuce

Morning Hitt (and everyone) and happy weekend to ya'll.

Yeah, that anxiety/stress thing is a beeotch when it hits hard. They're the only thing that really works to get me centered and able to deal with it all and surprisingly, I don't want/desire another one after I have one like I did when I only smoked. I've gone medicinal with them, have a very strict limit per day (5 max but haven't gone over 3 yet) and still hate everything about them. Decided to get PallMall. OOOoooky... and for me, I think it is best to only have cigs that taste like ... around here so no enjoyment factor at all. Going back to those few when I need them has also greatly improved my stomach issues as well so I'm sure it's all related.

I know things eventually will calm down, but I'm not beating myself up about it anymore (and being upfront about it with Mr. Handbasket really helped. Thankfully he gets it.). None today either so far either (and I'm out... so that helps). If I need 'em, I have to drive for them. Good thing generally I'm lazy. ha Snuff is working great alone right now, but then I haven't talked to the folks yet today. LOL!

Good for you Helen. It doesn't pay to kill yourself over a few cigs. I struggled with that for a long time. I had the worst time giving up my morning smoke. Finally I told myself whatever it takes to make it thru the day. The molens Macuba helped me kick that morning craving and now I don't crave that morning smoke. It's funny how things change so much. I still get cravings here and there but am dealing with them better. It's hard to explain but its like my mind set has changed. I may slip again but it will be just that, a slip. As long as we have the belief that there is no going back to smoking full time then we can work thru the rest.

Hey TV... Last time I went camping we ended up taking a generator, so you're still on the right side of roughing it.

Seems like I've got a molar bothering me a little and the vape (or maybe the suction) really seems to get it going, so it has been a very light vape day for me. My snuff collection is getting quite a workout, though. Between that and an extra portion or two I seem to be keeping and even keel.
