Funny Hitt, I've heard that from a few people but never had that happen. In fact my last order they replaced my General White with General Mint when I realized that they were out of stock on the White and I sent them an email letting them know that I'd take the Mint in stead. I even volunteered to pay the difference but they never charged it and I had the order two days later.

That being said, I'm not paying an extra buck a can if I don't have any issues in Customs with my Snus Central order that I guess I'm going to make. I did an inventory and I only have 7 cans of Mint left and I'm not going without that this point. Here's a +100 on Hitt's comment. The only way I ever quit smoking and felt "normal" was on Zyban. Gee an antidepressant worked for the three months I took it. Then, guess what? Zyban stopped, I was a basket case and back to the smokes.

With snus, I personally have only thought about a cigarette occasionally and so far it passed very quickly. Others are not that lucky. I think FSC pretty much told me to stay away from them. Whatever they added to the smokes was not good for my physiology and I had run out of places to buy non-FSC smokes.

Gutter, is that a zero turn? I've been trying to determine a funny sound I've been hearing.

Axl, don't know what to say about your VW, but it sounds like it's computer needs therapy.

Good morning. Roth evidentally you posted while I was typing last night. I think I'm up to about three words a minute on my phone. I tried Zyban too. I smoked the whole time I was on it and man I felt good. I know you're supposed to quit at like day seven but I never did. I guess I better go get to work. Funny thing about bosses, they want you to do stuff.

I too, tried zyban, I was able to quit smoking for three months but then one day my husband REALLY ...... me off...that was the end of that quit.

I agree that I probably have to do something with the car's computer but I'm honestly afraid to dig into that expense. I think that as long as the car starts, goes, stops, and turns, I'm just going to drive it and be entertained by its constant complaining.

I'm currently trying to think up a good excuse not to run tonight. I think there is a thunder storm moving in...

We are expecting thunderstorms tonight too. I have to drop off my daughter at play practice and then I'm gonna come home and workout. I had this guy call me at work whining this morning that they hooked their welder to the wrong voltage and blew it up. He needed it looked at right away so I told him we offered rush service at a premium price. He seemed ok with it and ended up bringing in two instead of one. I fixed one and then looked at the other that he blew up. The repair would have been more than a new machine so I told him and he ordered a new one. I charged him the rush labor rate for the time spent on both machines plus parts and he started whining about the price like I screwed him over or something. It doesn't matter whether a customer decides to fix it or not. I still have to bill for the time spent on it. It's amazing how many people think they shouldn't be charged for troubleshooting if they don't fix it. Hell with rush labor and parts the bill was only a little over 200 for working on both. That guy won't get any favors from me ever.

Had to have my tonsils and adenoids out (yep, i never grew out of my adenoids). One of my tonsils had a lump on it too. It went well, and the lump is not believed to be dangerous. Most likely a result of the tonsil issues I was having. I am feeling pretty much like I swallowed a lit road flare, but I am hopeful that this will give me some much needed long term relief that the meds weren't giving me. On a good note, I am out of work for two weeks to recover.

I am heading to bed. Catch y'all tomorrow.

Hopefully you'll recover in a few days and it'll be like vacation the rest of the time.
We are shopping around for a full size cello for my daughter. Holy crap those things are expensive. I'm hoping to find a good one under 2k. She has a 3/4 size right now that we still owe a couple hundred on. We'll pay that off and trade it in. I doubt we will get much for it. It was used when we got it and it has a few scratches on it.

FC, I must have missed your post on surgery in one of my absences. Hope all is well.

Oops, should have kept reading before I posted. I never grew out of my adenoid either. My contracts up in about three months but I think I'll wait on replacing it. Oh wait, that's android. NEVER MIND

In all honesty, I still remember that awful feeling after they took mine out and I was in grade school. Much better then than now.

Berry, buy I see Mint in my future

kitty : glad to see you tried snus. i have been trying to get my wife to try vape/snus/snuff for two years now. shes not a fan of my 901 mod box , probably cause its more tinker than it needs to be... anyways , good job. the camel robusto reminded me of a tea flavored , almost similar to general original. i havent had it in over a year , so i dont kow if its the same...

axl : what year is it , and what model , etc? i you have been showing an airbag fault (usually a failed to ready) , then youre having abs and other issues , you most likely have a worn or broken wire/connector/plug somewhere... if you can stop at aautozone or advance and get as many codes as it will allow (vw's run on a diffferent bus line than most cars , so you may have to take it to a vw dealership for code read. it should still be free though. some place charge a half hour shop labor which is usually 50$ or so (most dealers charge 90 an hour customer pay). ... we'll get you moving.

im happy to hear im not the only one mortified by the prices of snus online. when i ordered from northerner that one time , i only ordered about 10 cans , and it wasnt that bad . I havent ordered again cause the shipping seems completely random and way overpriced. i have been bugging the heck out of general on facebook , asking them to bring thinks like onyx and others to us stores. that and fresh general . i got a can the other day (last week) that said 4-28-11 . granted its not the oldest one i bought from this new store since we moved , but it put to rest the claims tha general uses uk dating instead of us. unless of course they have 28 months...

gotta go do a crapton of driving today , but it is a nice break from wrenching constantly.

Good morning. Hova I thought you might have an idea or two to help Axl. I don't mind putting in the big orders to offset shipping cost or to get shipping discounts when I actually need a lot to restock but when I just get low on one kind and could make do with just a roll of that then it's kind of a pain in the ..... You feel like you have to put in a big order to make it worthwhile but don't need a big order. I think in general(pun intended) that the General line of products are kind of overpriced but unfortunately the mint is one of my favorites.

Hova, thanks for the input. The car is a 2000 VW passat wagon turbo (i think four cyl??).

FC- I had my tonsils out when I was 20. I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone! Hopefully they have made some advances in that surgery in the last 15 yrs and maybe now it isn't so bad. I threw up from codeine so pretty much had to go through it with no painkillers to speak of. I got so dehydrated I had to be on IV liquids. Yuck.

Come on Hitt, the customer is always right ;)

Apparently the universe does not want my dog to work an aged track today. A thunderstorm chased me home from work, right passed my tracking field. Major thunderstorm!! I outran it and got home before it hit here at least.

I've been stomping out so many tracks lately I think that I damaged the nerves in one of my feet! I keep having a, for lack of better word, bubbly feeling go through the bottom of my foot. Not at all painful but very annoying.

They use a cauterizing scalpel now to reduce the bleeding, so it's really just a big burn. The pharmacy didn't have the liquid steroids yesterday, so it swelled on me. Hurts like heck today. Got the med today, but it's take a bit to get it to go down now that it has already swelled. The steroid seems to upset my stomach more than the codeine.

hitt- how did the transmission repair go?

Who decided that ALL liquid meds should be crap artificial cherry flavor? YUK.

other than that - it's hot and i may need to up my brewski intake to compensate.

Get well soon FC. Gutter keep that heat down there. The weather here has been very spring like.

For those that don't get across the tracks much-

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/media-general-news/196392-please-watch-cure-cancer.html

The documentary is excellent but it's nearly two hours so you better have a high speed internet connection to view it. It's only available until the 20th. A few posts up in the thread there is a written description of the movie which is a pretty good encapsulation of the movie with commentary.

One paragraph that I really liked in that commentary was-

"I'm sure that whenever someone donates their hard-earned money or participates in a pink-ribbon walkathon, they believe they're doing a good thing. They believe they're helping fund vital cancer research that will hopefully, some day, find a cure for cancer. Little do they know that much of this money goes toward perpetuating the status quo of cancer treatment, namely highly toxic drugs and expensive machines—the same old paradigm centered around profit."

It's definitely a must read and if you can watch the documentary, do it. I actually ordered the DVD which I felt was worth the contribution.

Good evening. I decided to mow tonight before replacing the transmission. Bad choice. It gave out with about half of the back yard to go so I had to push it to finish. I did get the transmission put in after that. It took me about 1.5 hours. It would probably take someone about half that long who does it all of the time. It goes almost as good as when it was new. Maybe I'll get another eight years out of it.
