C, I see you posted snusX. I guess that means you bought the bucket. Do you like it plain or are you flavoring the portions?

I flavoured one - dunked it in vanilla latte flavouring. Not bad. Then I have tried a couple of portions straight out of the bucket and they are quite decent.
I have promised myself I shall try the coffee flavouring that came with them, but it does smell a bit like Mocca Macchiato, and not very sweet. I might doctor it with some sweetener as well. I figure if the snus is OK as is, I will not be ruining it too much if I experiment.
Just trying to get an idea of the basic flavour first. Besides I will need to buy a good gradated syringe if I make small batches. Making up the whole tub is a bit of a gamble.

I agree. I don't think I would have the nerve to flavor the whole tub at once.
Maybe I'm just cautious, but if I keep note of a good result, it should be easy to make bigger quantities if it's that good!
I have a few flavourart flavourings I may try, like raspberry, blackcurrant and blackberry. I liked vaping those, so they may be OK. However the snus has a pretty strong flavour of its own so perhaps English Toffee or Kahlua or a peppermint or rum will give a better result. There may be some sense in trying to get close to the taste of some snuffs I like. Those have strong tobacco flavours too.
I haven't heard any more about other folks' experiments so I won't rush to do this till I read some more! However, other folks are prolly also hanging back on a wait and see basis!

I found a Kahlua Capella flavouring online. Gotta wait till next payday to do any more buying though.
I have the feeling that gums and teeth will suffer if we try soaking snus in alcohol or sugars. Otherwise I'd be tempted by stuff like cherry brandy. But dunking at the time of using is maybe a good idea. One could dunk one's merry way through various liqueurs or spirits.
TB has tried the remedial route, using mouthwashes and tooth whiteners. He says Crest is good. May give that a try too.

Evenin' all . The day's grinding along with only a small handful of burdens. A few more nuisances and I should be able to hit cruise control.
I'm a little more on balance today, but Thunder is still lacking its usual punch.
I'd drink to that if I wasn't a recovering alcoholic. For some, they're just mere words, for others it's branded on our souls and to forsake it is akin to molestation of our children.
C, I still haven't gone beyond SnusX straight either. I got some flavors I'd like to try, but the few times I've used it I always enjoy it just the way it is. That or I'm just too lazy to............... Have a nice weekend in France.

So my los got here and woooow what a difference in flavor I really like this much better than portions. I kinda wonder how well this stuff will keep as the los is much moister than portions. I could see this los becomming my preferance but cant see it totally replacing portions because of the work I do.

Northerner has both on the SnusX pages SnusX Aroma - Bergamot, 8 ml, snus and SnusX Aroma - Citrus, 8 ml, snus. Each bottle is only 8ml for $4.46, but according to the SnusX recipe 1 bottle should be good for a minimum of 10 cans (8-16ml for 1 bucket which is about 20 cans, depending on desired strength). This is the only place I've seen it.

Ettan is good snus and an 8mg portion about bedtime is a nice nightcap, but if I was to go to extra expense and fuss over snus, it would have to be one with the most goods. 02 gets a little closer. I have some Thunder Original portions that I plan to dig into tomorrow, so I'll let ya know if I think it has any possibilties

Thunder ori is as neutral as it gets, I didnt even taste salt in it and no flavoring at all. Straight up tob.
That's pretty much what I figured.....and hoped. I didn't used to be interested in tryin' it, but there's not may high nic snus out there (I have 'em all, except General ES) and the spearmint oil in the Frosted has a tendency to scorch my gums unless I rotate it with others.
I am talking los. except the or stuff I am 60+ cans of los.

Well not all los is created equal Ill tell ya that, Thunder frosted is awesome. I got gotlandssnus grey los as my free can this stuff has no flavor at all. So Los fans what are the good one you use?
I got a can of Phantom Brown as a freebie a while back and for the money I can't say it's too bad. It bakes almost too easy and the flavor is sorta sweet. If it was available in higher nic I'd buy some.Oden ES Kanel!!
