I still carry a PV and a bottle of liquid with me. Some days I never touch it, but it's always there. I still smoke, too. Oh, and I'm climbing stairs several times a day BY CHOICE. Guess we're all guilty of it.

Things have been pretty stressful here lately. Lots of stuff to worry about.

Afternoon. Roth I got some of the new thunder cool mint. So far so good. I'm on my second portion. It's peppermint like general mint but stronger nic and I can taste the tobacco a little more. It seems like the stronger snus have more of a dark tobacco flavor. I never noticed it much with the thunder berry but have with some others.

    Hitt,
I think your rain may have hit us tonight. It's supposed to rain here for the next 2 days or so.
Nothing interesting much to add from this end - The roof is on the new building and i've got enough work to keep busy with for a month or so.I guess everyone's tax returns are hitting and everything that's been broken for the last 6 months showed up at the door all at one time.
The weather has been nice and i've been trying to spend every extra moment on the bike.
It's funny to see you guys discussing pv's - finding snus and getting away from carrying all that stuff every day was a great thing.Seeing some of the new tanks and battery mods are pretty neat though - that buddy of mine was saying he can go two days without a refill or recharge now ( he's using some kind of new ego-t).suffering with that 510 and standard atomizer seems like ancient history now with all the stuff out there- it's scary how fast technology moves when there's a well paying market for it. :)

Good morning. Gutter, our rain was supposed to be over yesterday but it rained thru the night again and the roads were still wet this morning. It should be over soon. Congrats on getting the roof on the building. Is it ready to work in now? You are right about the money driving the technology of ecigs. It seems like every day there is something new out on the market. Many times it's not well tested though and there are problems. Sometimes I think it would be nice to give up vaping and use snus only. Then I come to my senses and realize that I don't think I could do without it. I don't use it a ton but enjoy it when I do. My favorite time is when I'm driving just like it was with cigarettes. Oh well, enough about that. I feel your pain on the work load. It seems like it's always like that with my work. Either it's slow or really busy. Usually no in between. I just hit a busy spell a couple days ago.

Gutter, you hit the PV stuff, but missed mentioning exercising. We are trying to get the demons in, I mean TV.

You're right Hitt, I compare the usage of my PV more with a pipe smoker. There are just times that a few puffs really are good for me, like playing poker. I had dinner Sunday and all four of us were converted smokers. It was kind of funny with all the various kits everyone had.

Gutter, your friend isn't that unusual. I load up my PV and I don't worry about any extra liquid or batteries for days. You can see how much liquid you have left and can get a read out on the battery strength on the PV so you know when you have to trade it out. Now to go out and get some exercise, perhaps I'll take the dog for a walk. (you hear me TV!- PVs, Exercise)

Wow, lot's of PV talk and no TV. It's supposed to rain here for the next couple days. This is a whole lot better than snow. It's actually been in the 80's here for the last few day's. I love this weather.

I've been switched back to second shift. We got a big order on and they want me to run it at night, while someone else run's it days. I am kind of happy about it. It isn't easy getting used to working with so many people around. I like working by myself much more.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Skrymr, I'm glad you are ok about going back to the other shift. It would really suck if you weren't. Too bad you have to work Fridays but maybe you can do something fun with the OT.

Axl, I'm still undecided on the thunder orange. To me the flavor is a little weird the first five minutes or so. After that it's pretty good. I am wondering why they called it cool orange. I don't taste any kind of mint in it. I am really liking the thunder cool mint though.

Fun with the OT is all that get's me to work it. LOL I really do prefer second shift. I know Sherry would rather I worked first, but I took the job based on me working second shift. I hope she adjusts to it.

I bought another razor last weekend. I was taking it apart to see what kind of polish it could take, and the end of one of the scales broke..... Oh well, it took a great polish and I have some lacewood left over to make a couple more sets of scales. I guess I know what I'll be doing next weekend.

Evening all, after 16 years, I'm entering a new era. I sure hope it's as good as I think it will be. They ran FIOS up the street this winter and they opened it up sometime in the last week. I ordered it today and they'll be out on Tuesday to start the install or install it (not sure since somewhere along the line they have better than a 100 yard plus run to get to the house.

I kind of hate to lose DirecTV since I'll lose some network programming from across the country and I'll lose TV altogether in VA unless I crank it down to just basic coverage and leave it running down there. However, for the first time in my life I'll get local pro sports on a regular basis. The big thing is internet. I'm paying $80 for Sat which only provides limited download allowance per day and slow. FIOS is supposed to be giving me 35mbps both up and down. Hughesnet is only 1.5mbps down and a lot slower up.

I'm also having my home line moved from the phone connect box which made my home phones appear to be cell phones and have the number for that box changed to a new number. I can then move that box to mom's house and we'll have two phone numbers to reach her on. Since only family will have that number and I can sit it next to her chair, we should always be able to reach her. Well that's the plan anyway.

Hoping all goes as planned with

    Catch Euch.

Brats on the grill tonight. I really like my grill. It's a Weber kettle grill with a propane lighting system. I haven't used lighter fluid in years. I have a chimney starter I used to use with my old smoker and I always recommend them. cheap and easy to use.

My son gave me a 20+ pound brisket that has been in the freezer. I plan on smoking that this summer. Brisket is my absolute favorite food for the grill. The bigger they are, I think the better they taste unfortunately. We might have to have a party to get rid of it all. The last party we threw I cooked a 22 pound brisket, 4 racks of ribs, and 4 whole chickens. Plus all the sides. There was no food left over afterwards. This was on my smoker, there's no way it would all fit on my current set up. I miss my smoker, but it was way too much for just the two of us.

    FIOS is fiber optics system.

Roth, congrats. I hope you really like the new set up. I hope you're Mom like the new set up as well.

Hitt, that's Verizon's name for their Fiber Optics System. They run it to your house from the street, then hook up some fancy equipment that delivers internet/TV and phone service. My net cost won't change much from what I currently have, perhaps a few bucks cheaper, but finally I'm out of last century. Actually, it will be the first time I'm on the same technology level as the rest of the world except a few months in '92 when I had cable that divorce separated me from. I just hope it all works and not too many trees fall to knock out everything.

    Thanks for explaining.

Skrymr, I got a smoker for fathers day a couple years ago. I don't use it a ton but enjoy the whole ritual of it. It didn't come with a separate fire box but I think I'm going to buy it as an add on this year. I've done ribs mostly but did do some chicken and brisket a few times. The smoked chicken breasts come out really good in just a couple hours.

I like smoked chicken too. I smoked a salmon I caught last year, and I don't even like fish. The rest of my family said it turned out great though. A side fire box helped me a lot. What kind of smoker do you have? I had a char griller with the side fire box.

Sorry, I didn't mean to derail the exsersize and PV talk... I hope TV is at least doing well.
