What's up with mmy ego twist?

I just got it in the mail today - a shiny new 650mah. Along with it I got a Smoktank XL with a 2.0ohm carto because I thought it would look sexy. I took the carto out and made the holes a little bigger, filled her up (she was looking mighty fine), and it vaped beautifully. However, a few hours later I picked it up for another toot (worked fine) and I took off the tank to check out the contacts. There was a little bit of juice on the batt contact and I used a gentle cotton swab to clean it off.

I think accidentally pressed the button while doing it and the LED started blinking (I thought I had locked it). I tried to unlock it and nothing happened. The LED doesn't turn on anymore..what happened?

yoiu may want to click it 5 times to reset it and turn it on or it needs charged or you got a bad one.....one of these three might be the answer....

Have you tried rechargeing your.battery? If it doesn't work after a recharge you may have burnt-out your battery.

It's currently charging, and the light turned red (on the charger). It's been on for 30 or so minutes. I guess I'll try it out when it recharges..if it does recharge. Do they run out of a charge that quickly? I guess I did play with it plenty to see what was up with it, but I really don't think I used it enough to exhaust a full charge.

Also, I had and old ego-t I put the tank on with the same carto and it's fine.

I know I had to charge my twist BEFORE my first using it. Did the instructions that came with it tell you to charge prior to use?

It came with no instructions. I really should have charged it up, but you know how it is - you get a new toy and you want to play with it right away.. Anyway it's charging right now. We'll see. ..Bummer if it did short though, it was pretty good!

The 650 battery should last roughly 6 hours of use, but many factors play a role on how long itll last...ymmv

When attaching it to the charge the led on the ecig should blink 3 times letting you know connection has been made...when it is completely charged the red led on the charger will turn green.

The twists blink when your battery is dying. I'd say definately shouldhave fully charged it before use.

Since the charger led turned green It may be charging so wait it out another hour or two. You can also try a different charger if you have one...I had a problem with charging my twist and I changed chargers and it ended up working..

I thought I'd let you all know that all is well. I left it to charge and saw that green light on my charger lit up when I got home from class. It's working just fine now. Thanks for the replies!
