Cool... I'm support at vapornine dotcom

When I replied before I basically said that whenever I post an order as backorder it sends out an e-mail saying shipped with the tracking number "backorder"

Thanks,

Everyone:

1. E-mail me for a refund if you don't want to wait.

2. I've spoken with the freight company a number of times and they tell me it's going through customs or maybe its already out of customs... I promise I will let you guys know immediately when it is here...

3. If you e-mail us regarding anything, please give us at least 24 hours to respond before sending more e-mails...

All the info I have will be posted here + on my website. I don't expect there are any problems with the shipment other than it being delayed so much.

thats really odd...i used to work for a courier company and we'd sometimes be contracted by local businesses to pick up packages from large freighter companies at their JFK facilities that were to be released to us for delivery...many times this would involve having to wait for customs clearance before we could load the packages and remove them from the JFK warehouses...but this clearance never took days or weeks like this...in fact it was usually minutes to hours to get a customs agent to sign off on it.

If this thing is still sitting in a fedex hangar/warehouse id say by now that its likely intentional. What id like to know is how long the customs agent over there is planning to keep delaying it. The freight company should have a good feeling about this if you speak to the right person on the warehouse floor.

Its also possible, since these customs inspectors are some of the most feared people at the airport and the freighters dont like messing with them that your freight company might be trying harder to push other more expensive shipments to get signed off first. Im not saying this is really happening...only that its another possibility. This of course they would never tell you.

I notice Bloog was or is having a similar problem- IF the sender is the same it is most likely being targeted rather than the recipient and a slight change of sender info might help it through the radar. (just thinking aloud- I used to work in receiving imports and remember all the "fun with customs"- you have my support & empathy Ben)
I'll hang out in the waiting room until you either get your shipment or call it off.

Appreciate the support...

Even if I never see the incoming shipment I do have another one on the way already by another carrier so I might be set back a while if something did happen to the current one but everyone will still get the product they ordered or a refund.. So no worries anyone, one way or another I'll take care of ya

Here's my plight right now about this pre-order thing:

Keeping in mind that i really dont want to cancel my order or get a refund...but at the same time im being charged interest on my credit card for this pre-order which was placed on my account about 2 weeks ago when Ben did not have it in stock yet (and still doesnt).

Isnt there a way for suppliers to work their paypal carts so the consumer doesnt get charged until the seller authorizes it?...that way we wouldnt be getting charged until the seller is ready to ship (which is how it SHOULD be done).

I dont mind having to wait for a product to ship from time to time, but being charged for it weeks in advance when its not even in stock yet is a bit of a stretch, for me at least.

Im hoping Ben will find a simple way of making it up somehow, as i said i really dont want to cancel my order just yet...but the pre-charging just isnt right.

Isn't right? Listen, I'm just as anxious to receive the order as anyone else. And my customers have the benefit of seeing a refund, at least. If you want a refund, contact me.
