So I was in the bathroom and was tucking in my shirt while holding my drip tip in my teeth...the battery fell about 3 ft and hit the tile floor very flushly..like, the bottom of it hit straight on the ground, not on the side or anything.

Well now every time I fire the button it just flashes for a couple seconds. When I take my tank off the button won't light at all. But as soon as I screw the ViVi back on, it flashes again every time I hit the button

Anyone know what gives?

Funny this post came up. As I also droped my eGo twist on the floor ( carpet ) and battery button was pushed in at bottom.

I took it apart and these things are made very cheaply which is good i guess.

Well I took it apart and found out the black wire had been cleanly cut from the solder. Every time I touched them, it made the little flash, and when I held it on there...I could fire the button like normal, but even with my tank screwed on, no vaping noise to be heard.

My guess is with the wire cut off the solder, it doesn't have a strong enough connection to sizzle some juice even when I'm touching the wire to the solder point.

Oh well....looks like I'll be ordering a second battery this payday.

Question before I actually order another of these...

Any chance I can just resolder the black wire into the contact point?

This same type of thing happened to my buddies twist, except it was the red wire that came loose from the solder. He tried resoldering it, but I think he put too much and ended up mass covering the little chip, so the battery still didn't work, and when it did, it was spotty.

Then again, where his wire came loose gave him hardly any room to work with, so it was really a pain.

My black wire is cleanly cut off, and seems like it would just take being stuck back in the solder to work fine again. But I could be wrong. I did already state that even when I touch the wires and the button fires, it still doesn't cook the juices in my tank. Is it because it doesn't have enough power by simply touching the wire tips, and DOES need to be fully placed back into the solder?
