First, I'm brand new to DIY. I just got a handful or TFA flavors in. I've made a single batch of French Vanilla(deluxe) and Bavarian cream at 10%(50/50) and they both have a pretty terrible after taste. Almost chemically and a muted flavor(like the VG is overpowering them). I've tried higher and lower % but either very weak or extra chemical taste. All of these are with no nic.

Do I just need to let these steep and see how they go or are my percentages just off?

Thanks for the help

Vanilla and baverian cream are usually used in combination with other flavors and at lower percentages for instance

What your trying to do may work but I don't think at those percentages

it may work at

vanilla 5%
cream 2%

and cream and vanilla need to steep 1 - 2 weeks.

another recipe that may will work

RY4 7%
vanilla 2%
Baverian cream 2%

There are base flavors usually a tobacco, fruit or desert like cupcake
then there are smoother and texture flavors like creams, sweeteners
then there are flavor notes or enhancements such as vanilla, ap.

It's really all about understanding flavors and knowing what go good together

I would recommend a little reading so you understand the are to DYI

Read my blogs before getting started

E-Cigarette Forum - dannyv45 - Blogs

then read hoosier's blogs.

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.
