Less then a month to a supposed end of the world I was wondering what fellow Reo users are prepared in their e-cig supplies ;P . I have reo 2.0 and grand on the way along with reomizer and hornet rebuildable, gotta buy those 1liter nicotine bulks

I have a good solar panel to keep my batteries charged after the solar flair(s) and hopefully enough juice in dark glass bottles to keep them from over-exposure! Otherwise, even if the electronics in my VVG gets taken out, my mechanical Reos should continue to work! Also enough Kanthal Wire and wick to last into the next mellinium. I still need to get a lead lined box to put all batteries in so that the electronics in them don't get shot.

While I'm confident we'll pass the 21st with no incident (we have until 2036 when Apophis clobbers us on its way back around the sun), my Grand is my doomsday mod. All mechanical so no electronics to fail in an EMP, rebuildable REOmizer on it so I can salvage wick and wire from toasters and boat shops, and I DIY with the ability to do a maceration tobacco extraction, so juice is covered as well.

The battery is the only wildcard. IMR, natch. No PCB to fail. I'd like to mount a solar panel on the door. You can run the wires from the panel through the door and into the magnets from the back, and wire the magnets in the mod to the battery terminals. Might need to shim out the magnets on the door a touch so they stand out enough to make contact.

Batteries are the weakest link.

Got most of the things down except for the battery issue. I would like to learn how to DIY a somewhat safe energy storage cell and multicell batteries with easily obtainable products. Otherwise I/we will have to do all our vaping in daytime, running directly off solar panel. Just occurred to me.... some of my wind up lanterns and radios could provide power at night. I need to check their voltage output.

We could always rig up a bicycle to pedal while vaping.

BTW.... we still have razor wire and road spike stars from Y2K and trip-wired booby traps that set off shotgun shells; sound only. I'm starting some tobacco seeds, soon, to plant in the spring. If anyone wants the link for good forum, tobacco growing, I can provide it. Need to have plenty of PG and VG on hand. At some point those may be really hard to get. I'll smoke tobacco in a pipe at that point.
