What's your craziest story about someone who didn't know what vaping was?

I read a story on reddit last week about a guy who had a metal/silver mod and was vaping outside while working on a ladder and his neighbor lady called the cops because she thought he was smoke {Moderated}! lol!! This has never happened to me but people always seem surprised when they see me vaping. What are some of the funniest things you have heard from people who don't know what vaping is?

I was walking a hot summer day last year and the same sheriff's car kept going back and forth on the road. They finally pulled over in the turn lane and waited for me to pass. Both watching me. I waved but I honestly think they thought I was doing something I shouldn't have been. How stupid, in broad daylight on a public street.

I actually told this story earlier in another thread....

Last weekend I was in a bar with a buddy playing pool(both vaping), and a lady came up to saying I need you to stop smoking those now! (imagine the .....iest voice you can think of.)

We proceeded to tell her that they are electronic, and it is vapor not smoke. She then proceeded to continue to be ignorant and belligerent, telling us that they are illegal indoors (I live in GA LOL) and that we don't know what is in there and they are toxic.

My buddy was not having it and kept vaping right in front of her and finally she went to get the manager of the bar, who laughed at her.

We went out last night to a karaoke place, and another couple sat with us. She knew nothing about vaping, so I tried to educate her a little. At one point I pulled out my U-Can and was putting more juice in my RSST and she asked, "Is that lighter fluid you are putting in there?"

I was told the other night that I was inhaling radiator fluid! By a guy who was smoking an analog!!!

My response was "I know, horrible, isn't it? All those chemicals - carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, amonia, acitone, benzene... Oh, wait, that'd be what you are smoking. Sorry. What were you saying?"

I was with a friend and we got stopped by the police because one of them thought we were vaping "Hash oil". The cops partner was even laughing when he heard this
