Retired after 36 years as a Tech Rep with a ... wait for it ... multinational reprographics company that once monopolized the copier/laser printer/high volume printing industry (until Japan entered the market).
Couldn't resist making it sound high and mighty. I actually drove around in a company minivan, carried a briefcase tool bag, and repaired high volume computer room color and B/W laser printers and the same in large print shops all day. I loved the job because it paid well and I was in a different place every few hours. If I was caught up I could stop and shop or grab a cup until the Blackberry squawked.
After retirement I entered a Cisco Networking program at the local technical college and completed the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) program as insurance against becoming obsolete. I haven't had to go back to work, though. Retirement is kind of fun ...
