I'm a zoo keeper. I herd lawyers and try to take care of their money, which they'd rather spend than use common sense.

I manage zookeepers!. Me and my small team of Linux administrators take care of an audience data management platform. In other words...all your cookies are belong to us. Muhaha. ;)

Pictor - your work is incredible. Simply amazing.

I too am a chef. Had a sort of mid life crisis in 2000 and decided that being a professional bum (ski industry and whitewater rafting guide) really wasn't an ideal career if i desired to live above the poverty level. I do hope that someday in the not too distant future I will be able to take photos again.

During the busy season I'm a wedding photographer, during the quiet winter times I'm a trucker

And my other work,

Have a look and say hello!

I'm not too far removed from Megan's vocation: I'm a painter (artist) - what wasn't taken seriously by my parents as a 'career' back in the mid 60's came full circle when I picked my brushes up again in the mid 80's, and 25 years ago became a professional artist. I've loved every minute of it since.
This is an interview done last year: http://www.jacksonsart.com/blog/201...ck-master-of-traditional-still-life-painting/

Travis inhabits the world I worked in as company buyer until I left in '89.

WOW!!!! That pretty much sums up my impression on the both of you!! WOW!!!!

Truly incredible talent, Pictor....honestly!

Don't let your wife get to my wife or we're both screwed for sure!

All your kind words are greatly appreciated ....I don't have the same levels of concentration and focus since I stopped smoking, and it's become harder to meet commitments for exhibition schedules - so I need encouragement like that - huge thanks! :)

I spent 36 years as a field engineer (tech rep) for Xerox Corp. When I retired I went back to the local tech school and did a one year Cisco CCNA networking course for retirement backup. I haven't needed it yet but the diploma is there just in case I have to make some more money.

I thought it would be boring to be retired, but it's actually been kind of nice to be able to get up every morning and decide for myself what I'll do today! The key is keeping busy and doing a daily workout to stay in shape. I'm doing 140 free weight reps and a 5 mile stationary bike ride at least 5 days a week. I watch Amazon Prime video while I ride the bike. Right now, I'm on the 4th season of Star Trek The Next Generation. That offsets the boredom of riding the bike!

I'll show off too. I have my memories, right? 2007 work, still my most favorite series I'll never be able to do again (stupid MS ) anamnesis
I can see why it's your favourite series! It's brilliant!
My favourites are the 'We Once Were Young' and the chimneys ...but the whole series is unique. You did it, it's all yours and no one elses! Nothing can take that away from you Megan

i am a warehouse associate for the largest online retailer in the world :D

So in which fulfillment facility do you work? I'm sure you're talking about Am..on, so chances are my company sold and installed your storage rack and conveyor system. We did CHA1,CHA2, BNA1, BNA2, and BNA3 there in Tennessee.
BTW, that's what I do, as well as designing, selling, and installing retail fixtures for companies like Di.ks Sporting Goods. I don't do the installing part myself, I'm the designer AKA Project Engineer.

That kind of talent just leaves me speechless! I have no artistic talent at all, but I can surely appreciate the work of those who do. A tip of the hat ladies!
