Just interested in knowing what the rest of you like to listen to. Favorite Male and Female Vocalists? I generally like Hymns sung by folks like the Discovery Singers (awesome rendition of 'Day by Day' and everything else). I also like upbeat stuff like the Gaither's put out. I don't much go for Praise music unless it's really good...like 'Majesty' or 'As the Deer Panteth', melodic songs not so monotone and repetitive.

So...what do you guys like?

I loved the WOW cds when I was younger. My favorite was 1999 I believe. The early 2000s were pretty good imo. I got out of them around 2006 or so.

My all time favorite band is DCTalk :D I love Newsboys (old and new), Audio Adrenaline, Grits, Lecrae, Steven Curtis Chapman, Rich Mullins (absolutely love him!!), KJ-52, Out of Eden, MercyMe, Sonicflood, NewSong, Mark Lowry, Nichole C. Mullen, Big Daddy Weave, Superchick, PC3, Phillips Craig and Dean, Avalon, Mary Mary and so many more! This list could go on forever.

I'm going to have to dig up those old WOW cds now lol!

It is awesome!!! I was so excited when I heard Kevin on the "God's not Dead" song with Tait and the Newsboys, although I was disappointed he didn't make it into the video. I randomly heard on the radio that Kevin Max was in AudioA and I thought "surely not the same Kevin?" And it was!!! I loved them all together, but I'm glad they are all still singing.

Man, there are so many new faces on the board!!!!! Lady T would be so proud. She was the moderator and due to monetary difficulties, she doesn't have internet hookup. She is pretty much disabled but she is a strong fighter. That woman can parallel park a semi without breaking a sweat. I mean....REALLY! But since she is not here, please allow me to officially welcome all you guys! So happy you are here!!!! Post all you want as we are a family. I won't judge you. I will laugh with you and I will cry with you and I will pray with and for you. We fight the fight together. As this world is spinning and dying each day, the rapture could honestly be just any moment. Isn't that exciting? With all the bad going on, remember it doesn't matter who is in the white house or senate/congress, Almighty God is in control. Read Romans chapter 13. These are exciting times in the lives of Chrisitians....to meet our Jesus in the air. Amein! Hallejuah! Even so, come Lord Jesus.

I generally enjoy the IOG Chicago Choir. All their music is very moving ... a lot of them appropriate for cleaning out the tear ducts when needed. I had about 8 WOW CD's and listened to them for a couple of years, but after a while, I handed them down to to my daughter, and she loved them. I like DC Talk for one. I used to attend a mega church in San Diego, and they held concerts of every popular group. At least two thousand attended, so they were held at SDSU where there was room. I went to see Audio Adrenaline and couldn't wait til it was over ... too loud and wild. I favor music with feeling and not so wild you're frantically trying to find the knob to turn it down.
