Hey guys, I usually couldn't care much about flavor, because in my opinion it's always there, I like to concentrate on big vapor amount, speed of heat up, and density. However today I got a bee up my behind to concentrate on flavor. In my experience wider "macro" coils have been better on flavor, but not so much for "chasing" the clouds. They usually take longer to heat up, produce decent vapor, but their dense flavor is where they really shine.
With this build, I felt like I tasted alot of my juices for the first time, this has been my go to flavor build:
Twisted 24ga dual coil setup, wrapped 4 times on a 1/8th" guide to allow for a big'ol fluffed out wick. I guess I'm different when it comes to most, because in my experience the more juice cotton surrounding and going through the coil has made way denser and stronger flavor for me. Being at .16ohms, this setup still heats up super fast, and gets really warm and dense in the chamber. My theory is that having alot of hot coil mass in the chamber turns in into sort of a kiln, and heats up not only the cotton wick going through it, but also the wicks tails running under and near it. It's definitely super warm, dense, and concentrated in flavor. It's a welcome change to my usual big vapor setups, however I am a believer that with big vapor will come big flavor as well, it doesn't just dissapear
. I'm also a fan of mundy's magic ribbon, however it doesn't give me the warm denser vapor that I like, however the flavor is stellar.
