Magma was my second RDA and I knew as soon as I starting using it that it wasn't going to be a good fit for me, but I'm an over-dripper so... None of the bottom air feed RDA's work for me, except maybe the N22.
I don't want to be a bandwagoneer but the Vertex V2 really does give great flavor. Much sharper and clearer than most other RDA's it's size. I've been running a derringer through it's paces this past week and for such a small RDA is is surprisingly easy to build on and makes some great flavored steam. Although, it is tiny so I end up dripping about every 3-4 toots so I don't dry out my cotton.
If you're looking to drop epic amounts of money the marquise also hits great, throws excellent clouds, has great flavor and can hold "gallons" of juice. Plus, it's a dream to build vertical coils or chimneys. Only significant drawback is the $140 price tag. I know the clones are out but I would rather support the creators for such an innovative design.
My favorite RDA is the quicksilver by 2P. It's ancient in the RDA world (>4 months), but it has nice clean lines, hits well and has a completely removable deck that sits like a bridge over a juice well that is big enough to smuggle people across the border. Sadly, it's a hard-to-find RDA, though I hear good stuff about the clone.
The geyser absolutely chucks vapor but other than that I like it mostly because I think "geyser" is a funny word.
However, there are almost as many RDA's as there are opinions about which is best, so to give real advice we need to know what you want. I imagine you're a flavonerd because the magma does put out great flavor despite it's leakiness. I think someone mentioned the lancina, which looks good, hits good and only leaks when you use it (and also when you're not using it).
I used this poll around the new year and folks had good stuff to say so you might find some valuable insights in here:

Good luck and welcome to the ECF. Keep vapin' and I'll see you on the threads.
