Hey on a brighter note, it seems the discovery channel is going to have a second season of "the Colony". Great information in the first one. Things like how to make a gasifier work, I hadn't even thought of that before the show. Other practical things like rigging up your own solar power through scavenged parts, etc.

edit: Oh and season 2 is simulating a viral outbreak so it should be even more interesting. Dare we dream it's a zombie infestation?!? It also seems to take play on the bayou with a couple of the survivors being scuba certified and one is a pilot. Could be some good stuff there!

The Google Maps joke made me think about some of the things we would have to do without, but also made me realize that my GPS will still work. One less thing to worry about.

A really nice, high dollar hand-held GPS is something I would never buy, but it just went on my mental "To Scavenge" list.

Of course my hand-held GPS will run on batteries, and I will recharge it right next to my PV's batteries; strapped onto the radio rack in the turret of my Bradley. Sheesh!

Also, I see no need to bring up that ONE unfortunate episode in man-ape relations. That was all a big misunderstanding, anyway. I say let's worry about the distant future/past some other time, and let fore/bygones be fore/bygones.

Variations of the rule are not stated in "The Rule" (post #18 in the Contest Anyone thread). While not risking a complete annililation of Time/Space, you risk creating a temporal loop back to 1966! While this may be good for me and anyone 50 and over, this may not be good for younger people! Or possibly a worst case scenario would be that no other Batman movies are ever made after "Batman and Robin"! We would forever be forced to watch nipples and cod pieces and a govenor's come-back movie in HD!8-o

I don't plan on sending this to 873 people for fear that I won't win the Publisher Clearinghouse sweepstakes or any other nonsense. If the cosmos truly messed back then all the CEO's in the world would end up homeless begging for change with necrotic hemorrhoids!

Anyway to get back on the tentative subject of the post. I still haven't seen many plans from the zombie front! Fair is fair after all, we're sharing our defenses, how about some sneaky z-tricks to watch out for? From other non-vaping zombies of course, I'd never insinuate that the current non-aggression pact would be breached by my fellow vapers.
