My only rule is this: Buy what juices and gear you NEED, and THEN buy what you WANT after the needed purchases.

Recently it's been difficult balancing the financial scale because I just upgraded from 510s (atty/carts) to eGos with cartos (they do add up, but luckily they're just for driving or when I'm heavily distracted) and attys for dripping. Getting new cartos, attys, and driptips sacrificed a lot but now I'm almost back into the full swing of things. (I'm lucky since I got two batts from a friend and one of them FELL APART (it was free, no worries) because I think I screwed it on the USB charger too tight... ...so she up and BOUGHT me a whole new eGo kit instead of buying something she wanted. So to pay her back when I did have the cash, I bought her cartos, helped her to get a new eGo kit, and then some non-vaping stuff :) ECF rocks for people helping out!).

When I first started vaping I bought way to much were talking I still have 510 batterys, attys here untouched never been used and not just a couple of them and this is after me giving away some. I upgraded to the EGO kit not long after I started vaping and had extras for it and just stuck with it for a long while I still had tons of juice as well. And last week I upgraded to the EGO-T 1000 mah tank B bought extra attys and tanks for it. I buy my juice in bulk now from China and mix as needed so I really do not have a monthly thing that I spend I might spend every 3 months on juice and flavors or pg and vg.

My initial goal was to not spend more on vapeing than I did on cigs. It took me 6 months but in 7 days I will have achived that goal. My calculator says I had spent $1825. per year on cigarettes. I would like to cut that # by at least half which will figure out to be about $76.00 per month in the future. I am well stocked at this point so I believe it's doable.

I have the worst of both worlds-- I'm buying DIY stuff, lots of flavors especially, and still ordering new juices to try. Oh, and buying "good deals" from the classifieds from time to time (example: I ended up with a couple dozen 901 attys and I seldom use those anymore). I sorta try to limit the purchases to $200 per month for two people.

Oh well, cigs were costing about $250 per month, so aside from the occaisional mod purchase I'm probably doing not-so-bad.

We were spending $140 a week on cigs.... so yeah we're saving money... it does take a certain amount of self control we could easily out spend our old cigarette budget if we let it get out of hand.

Since march (when I first fully got into vaping) I've spent upwards of $1000 on vaping. Of course thats with my beginner mistakes buying for me and my ex. 808 pcc kits that the batteries broke after a day. Then ego-t kits which the tank system leaked, then trying all sorts of atomizers.. going through lr 510 and ego mega atomizers like they were going out of style. Now I havemy provari and roughstack, found my fav juices and boge cartos, dont waste money on attys and am stocked on juice for another month.

So now that I got my setup down I foresee spending around 100/month on juice and average 100 on modding and such.

Smoking cigarettes I couldn't reallt see what I was really spending cuz it'd be 10 bux every day or other day, whereas with this I make a big order and am good for a while. And I smoked american spirits which last I bought were 12 bux in brooklyn, 10 long island

I think I am on my way to actually saving money :) I've got my pv set-ups, 3 eGo batteries, a 3.7 mod, a 5v mod and a VV mod (though, I'd really like to ONE more  I'll wait though)

I've found an all day juice that satisfies me completely, and I have a decent reserve of back-up favs, juce in case I run low or out of my all day. I have a small arsenal of atomizers. The only thing I have been buying recently, aside of a couple dollars for samples here and there, is my main juice.

So, I guess around $40-$50 a month.
