does anyone notice the improvement in health??????!

I'm only 5 days in (and had 1 analog in that period of time), so I don't know how long it takes. I was wondering the exact same thing just now before reading your post. When did you guys who've gone a while notice changes in health?

I quit cold turkey 10 years ago for about 6 months. I remember after 1 month I started thinking analogs smelled bad. But I don't really remember ever feeling healthier during those six months (because I was actually really sick from something else). Otherwise if I wasn't ill during those months, I think I would have noticed the benefits. At least I hope!

I too would like to know, when others noticed improvement.

In me and my Fiances first 21/2 months have spent.......

Initial Investment for 2 stupid E-Health Cigs $65.00
Upgrade to a Vaporstixx w PCC, and 510 Kit with 5 X 10ml bottle of juice $155.00
Bought our first Ego Tank Kit (Well half kit for it only included one batt, one atty, but had all the tanks etc) $20
Bought extra atty 9.00
Bought 2 X 900 mah VV USB passthrough Batteries, 1 Vision Clearomizer, Pack of CE3's $60
e-liquid stock $200 (we won't need to buy e-liquid for at least a month or two now)

Total Investment $509.00

We smoked together about a pack and a half a day. A Pack of Exports in Ontario is about 10.50 (When we lived in Alberta it was about 13.00/pack OUCH!) So that is about lets say $15.00 for each of us to smoke. Multiply by 30 day approx a month that is 450/month to smoke. In 2 and 1/2 months we would have spent $1125 dollars in cigarettes. We've only spent approx 509 in vaping supplies and like I said that includes at least another month of juice. I have saved over $600 so far and it seems as I continue it gets cheaper and cheaper :)

Add to that 2 more months of not needing to buy any more juice and you're looking at some decent savings. I jumped on the Gourmet 50% off sale and bought a couple hundred dollars worth of juice. I think I have enough hardware so that I can easily choose to not buy more and easily see a return on my investment at about halfway through my current juice supply.

However, that would mean no more buying mods, batteries, chargers, regular batteries, new atomizers, new cartomizers, etc...

In other words, I don't expect I'll ever see a ROI unless I can put a price on my feeling well. I can't say with any scientific certainty that this makes me healthier. I can only say I feel better. I can put no price on my wellbeing. I am also unable to put a price on the happiness that I get from trying the various things and learning more about it. I approach it as a hobby and like all good hobbies it is expensive and time consuming. :)

So, no... No ROI that I can measure with numbers is possible for me even though I could likely easily find a financial ROI if I limited myself. Bugger that... ;) Bugger that indeed.

(Also, Firefox's spelling checker really should know the word wellbeing but, then again, it didn't actually figure out Obama was a word until like the last iteration.)

Absolutely, and you can find many testimonies to that effect in many threads on this forum. The most typical obvious benefit I've seen reported, and experienced myself, is that it takes more exertion to lose your breath. So, many people who exercise notice that they can go further before needing to slow down to catch their breath. I also notice that I am much less prone to sinus infections, which I had chronic problems with when I smoked. It also seems that I can stand longer without my feet hurting so much. I'm pretty sure that has something to do with improved circulation.

Once you settle in on a device and juice combo, you will save tons... I spent more money trying out different things than I did on anything else my first couple of months.

Oh hai FRANKSTER =) steeped any juices lately?

Actually yes, I have a few 30mls steeping in the wine cellar...I will give them a look see in June.

I'm getting this image in my head, of a "Juice" cellar filled with juice bottles laying sideways. How cool would that be? To have a room dedicated to storing all the many juice flavors out there. LOL

How funny would it be to hear people start talking about what a good "year" or vintage that 555 was. I can imagine someone saying "Yeah that 2011 House Brew from Copper Creek was a good year". And in a way, juice gets better with age (steeping), but I don't think it would get even better after many years unfortunately.

I totall agree with chatter97 on this. Don't be discouraged, it always costs in the beginning to get set up. With what you have now you should be good to go for months. If you have good batteries and a good supply of cartomizers or atomizers there's no way that you should be spending any more money for quite a while unless you have a problem with spending control. In that case you should just not buy anything until you are almost totally out of liquid or you're not satisfied with your setup. If you are get advice from the veterans or other members before you spend more. Just trying to help...

Would be great if it got better with age like a fine wine, however it doesn't. After a certain amount of time depending on the flavorings and maybe other ingredients, the Nic would last if stored or frozen for a while but not the juice. For me after about 7-8 months it's hitting the trash can if not used. I look at it like anything else you open and either leave out or put in the fridge, it just goes bad after X amount of time, again that mark for me is about 7-8 months being 3yrs in now and vaping juices, not saying some might not last longer just for me it's that amount of time.

2 questions for you mwa102464: First, do you bother storing liquid in the fridge/freezer, or just in room temperature? 2nd, do you take the time to date your liquid so you know how old it is? Or does it usually get vaped before you get to that point?

I've lost a terrible amount of money in vaping if you compare it to the cost of smoking...but I like vaping, I don't smell or cough too much anymore, and I have some pretty awesome mods, lots of killer tanks, many strong atomizers, and a DIY kitchen ready to go on top of my dresser. Vaping has become a lifestyle of sorts for me. I like to collect a small arsenal of flashy, functional, and fun ways to vape; downside is it costs a lot of money!!! I know I'm not alone though. I watch youtube videos and reviews all the time and I keep seeing more and more variations of myself or vice versa (meaning people who are SERIOUS with vaping and go ALL OUT).
