So how do You like to vape?
Favorite atomizer? voltage? resistance? battery(ies)? Unit(s)?
Overall whats your favorite set-up to get you through the day?

For out and about and on the go, my peace has been the ikv 901 2.0 on a LiMn 16340 battery with a Chameleon using a 50/50 mix of 16mg Black cherry and 16mg Dr.Vapor.

:thumbs:

For the homestead a Chameleon with ext sleeve on 2x 3V Aw LifepO4 batteries, with a 4.5Ω hv 801. In the morning Tiramisu liquid that provides a coffee with Extra cream feel and in the afternoons it's a toss up between everything!

My main go to device is the eGo with a regular JoyE atty @ 24mg. My morning vape with coffee is flue cured at 24mg followed by flue cured @18mg.

My daily vape is a 60/40 combo of RY4 and 555 @24mg, sometimes DK TAB. I often carry a combination of attys/carts with me when out and about, in case. Often I will have a sweet cart e.g irish Cream or Buttery Nipple.

During the evening this is where I use my lizard with an 801 atty. Either vaping Dark Vapure or Cuban Supreme at 30mg while watching the tube. My vaping is way down during the evening. On nights I don't feel like a pipe or cigar, usually RY4 at 18mg.

I save the high powered stuff (LR attys) for when my demons appear, usually when we are in a moon phase. Saturday was the New Moon. My demon came Fri afternoon sometime and didn't go away until just before supper yesterday when I tamed it with Cuban Supreme at 30mg. 6 toots and I was finally satisfied. This was carried out on a reg 510 batt and atty. When fighting demons, I start low and work up, and quit when the sucker has been tamed. I prefer vaping at 3.1V but I am sure that once I get my hands on some 2Ohm attys, 3.7V will be a sweet spot with those.

While I am typing this, I'm vaping cash cap @24mg and 6V.

Epic Journey
Since receiving my Chameleon about two weeks ago, it has been my main daily device using three different configurations. I drip mostly and use derlin and stainless steel "shorty" T-tips from SuperT.

In the morning I use it at 4.2V with one freshly charged AW16340 IMR 3.7V battery and LR801 2.0 atty and a Derlin 801 T-Tip. I like it with the Honey Flue Cured juice at 26mg occasionally mixed with some coffee flavor.

When I get to my office, I take the battery out and use the Chameleon with the USB Pass for the next 8-10 hrs. I plug it to the Enercell AC power adapter at 5.25V with a DSE/901 atty at 3.2 ohm and a T-tip. Juice flavors vary based on my daily mood but mostly I like the mix of Honey Flue Cured with 555 at 24-26mg. When in the mood for something refreshing or fruity, I use the Blueberry 36mg juice from PS which I cut down with 20% VG.

I tend to need more in the evenings and before going to bed. Using the extension sleeve with two 3.7V AW16340 IMR or Li-Ion batteries for 7.4V vaping with the XHV801 atty really hits the spot for me. I like being able to take short (2-3 second) yet very satisfying drags.

I have my Ego batteries charged and ready to go at all times. I keep one at home and one at work for those times when I need to be able to carry something really small in my pocket and for shorter periods of time. I use it sparingly since I prefer it with a LR 510 1.5 ohm atty and realize that the battery life will be dramatically shortened. It looks great with the wide-mouth "shorty" Stainless T-Tip.

My daily setup will change slightly when I discover more likable juice flavors and try Isaac's new SLB cartos.

Just call me lazy, I use the chameleon with a stnd 510 atty and single 3.7 battery. That's it, I don't even change atties when changing fluids I just overlap it. Fluid I use 40mg mrblro with added capp or ry4 for a change up. I carry two extra batteries and one extra atty plus a 3ml bottle of juice when I go out. If I am driving I will use Ikens cartomizers. I rarely use the extension sleeve as I find it to harsh. I have about four mods I tinker with from time to time when at a desk, if I am going out its the chameleon all the way.

I keep 4 PVs at a minimum going at all times. 2 for when I'm at my desk, which is most of the time and 2 for away from my desk or on the run.

At my desk, these two share time about 50/50, I just go back and forth constantly.
1st... My Chameleon with the 2.0ohm LR 801 atty, an UltraFire ICR 123a 880mAh 3.7v battery and a mix of Strawberry, Cherry, Melon, Menthol (all from Isaac) 18mg juice.
2nd... My Buzz with a regular 302 atty, voltage on the Buzz set to 4.6v, two AW 16340 batteries, I have a set of Li-ions and a set of LiMNs that I switch back and forth between, and chocolate, caramel coffee 18mg juice.

Away from my desk/on the run
1st... My silver LPV1, hung around my neck with an eyeglass necklace. I always wear it but only use it when I'm not at my desk. I was using the 510 cartos but I'm currently trying a 306 atty with a drip tip. AW 10440 battery and the Strawberry, Cherry, Melon, Menthol 18mg juice.
2nd... My LPV2, usually kept in my pocket with an AW 10440 battery, a 510 carto and now thanks to Switched some extremely tasty Buttery Nipple juice (used to have my coffee juice).

My LPV3 sits here with a 2.0ohm LR 901 atty, an AW 10440 battery and a mixed tobacco juices in it but I only hit on it once in a while when I need a break from the sweet juices I normally use.

Happy Vaping!

Mostly I've been taking the Lizard with an Iken LR510 out with me... either Torque, Freedom, or Smooth8 mixed with AEL Tobacco. I've been carrying a spare LiMN with me along with a 3ml dropper bottle and a paper clip. Sometimes I'll take an 808D carto instead with a pair of Li-ion batts. Two 16340s is plenty for all day and then some.

I generally don't change flavors based on time of day. But in the evening, at home, I'm more all over the map regarding HW/SW just because its around...
* LR801
* std 901
* std Joye510
* slb 3.5ohm 510 (passthru only)
* 5v lizard passthru
* std 510 batt (although its nearly dead now)
* Another 16430 MOD
I've been dripping more at home and its easier to swap things around.

I just got some 801 carts, so I'll try taking the LR801 out with me soon and see how it goes.

yes VM I have 1 801 LR atty that I am going to try on mine. I hear they rock LOL:D

I have been dripping the LR801 at home some and like it, nice flavor. But I prefer carts when I'm out and about and have to see how troublesome the carts are with those big boys.

Overall I've been gravitating to using the LR attys or cartos with 3.7v... and std attys at 5v.

Keep us posted on the 801 carts. I vape so heavily that dripping is just a better option. I hate to drip when I'm away from my desk though, that's where the cartos come in handy.

Mr Madness! Thats so great to hear on how your enjoying the vaping world let alone the lizard and how the batteries are running a full days course! Just Great! and still relieving. :laugh: No, we both know if a problem were to happen we would be on it like (insert snappy metaphor here) lickedy split!

Remember to not allow the 801 with a filled cartridge to sit in an upright position. There's no reservoir to make the catch, but one will soon be implemented. ;)

Thnx Isaac. I'm really liken' all my IkenVape gear :) The LR attys really pushed things over the top for me, great satisfying hits in a small sized package... so the combination of LR attys + Chameleon + HiDrain16340 batts... all of which came from IkenVape.

I have run the LR510 atty thru one cleaning/dryBurning cycle so far. After a week of prime time use, it's performance had degraded considerably. A boiling bath wasn't enough to perk it up again, but a dryBurn sure did the trick. Don't know how many cycles I can get out of it, but so far so good.

Ok... so i can expect a little leakage it sounds like... how bad can it be ;)

This evening, I filled one of the 801 carts you sent my way (thnx for the trade). I just dripped (and dripped and dripped) into the stock filler in the thing until full. Really takes a lot, put a big dent in my 3ml dropper bottle. The white cart body was helpful. I could see how far down the liquid had gotten as I was filling when I held it up in front of a light, at least for this first filling.

No flooding/leakage whatsoever (yet), been running drier rather than wetter for me so far. A little patience is required between hits, or if I'm impatient a quick shake to drive some juice down into the atty has been working. Still plenty-o-juice flowing.

So far so good. I may try taking it with me for the day tomorrow and see how it works in the wild. This LR801 is my best performing atty right now at 3.7v.

Ok I can vouch for the upright position, but only had that problem after I tried modding the carts. Then I had several fun times with juice clear down the side of my Chameleon into a puddle around it at the bottom. And you know everytime it managed to go right over the button. Go figure LOL Note that the button took a soaking and never got stuck or stopped working. Hubby did take apart for me and make sure there was nothing inside and there wasn't.

Ok... so i can expect a little leakage it sounds like... how bad can it be ;)

Ummm see above :) Those 801 carts hold around 1.2mil. The only time I saw leakage on the carts that had not be modded at all was when it was completely full and I left it sit upright overnight. And even then it wasn't as bad as the floods I got when I played with modding the carts.

The white carts are nice that way, you can see where the juice is between fills too. The 1.2mil capasity is really nice, however that 'patience' part was the downfall for me. I just vape too heavily for a cart, any cart. I do caution about shaking it too much though. If you have an air lock and you manage to send an air bubble up into the cart you could get more juice suddenly coming out than you want..

Keep posting! I have my fingers crossed they work for you! Hubby was very happy with the trade, he likes that apple juice :) Thanks again!!

Glad he likes the Fried Apples. I'm real happy with my end of the trade too :)

The 801 carts are working well. I've taken it out and about 2 days now. Still no leaking to report. The large capacity is very nice, overall much less fussing with refilling than with the smaller carts or cartomizers too, just don't have to do it as much. I have not yet gone thru cleaning out the old filler or cutting and repacking with new filler. I'm pretty happy with the stock poly filler in these carts and probably won't try re-stuffing with foam, as I think these may be too large for foam to work well with.

The LR801 atty itself is still performing flawlessly after a few days of prime time use, making big vaper and flavor. And its much quieter than other attys are cartos... more calming... I like that.

edit: Just cleaned and re-stuffed the cart with the stock filler that came with it without any trouble. I did that by rinsing in tap water first, then bathing briefly in very hot water (poured from a boiling kettle), then shaking out and allowing to dry. The polyester fibers of the filler that came in the 801 carts are thicker than the polyfil fibers I've gotten with 510 and 401 carts. This 801 filler is more like the Fluval Water Polishing Pad material than the finer pillow stuffing polyfil material.

Ok... getting a little frustrated with the 801 cart... just not wicking effectively... the liquid stays trapped in the cart. The first fill worked reasonably well, but since then, liquid just isn't flowing properly.

Maybe I will try some foam filler afterall. With the other carts (with this same liquid trapped in polyfil problem), I've found that foam works best and the material is very easy to work with, and a piece of foam can be reused many more times than a piece of polyfil. The foam pads that I have are too thin for these carts so I'm off to the petstore to find a larger block of foam to cut a piece out of.

So for now, I've switched to the LR901 with a foam filled cart.

All of these 2 ohm LR attys are fantastic! Spot on for 3.7v vaping. I think my days of sampling all manner of attys are over, I'm sticking with IkenVapeLRs. Now if only I can get carts to work with the big 801 :)

Oh no, so sorry VM! That's the same thing I went through though. They were great at first, then kept air locking with half a cart of juice stuck in the end. The blue foam does stop that to some extent, but since it flows more freely than the filler it is also more prone to leaking. I'm sure if you play with it enough you can get the right amount of foam or filler to get it to work right, I'm just not that patient LOL I found it easier to drip at least when I'm at my desk.

I whole heartly agree about the LR attys! That is all I use on the Chameleon now. I've been running the 801, but for the heck of it today switched to the 901. I like them both, can't really say that I like one better than the other, they are both good :)

I'm no where near giving up on the carts :) I've got a large enough foam block now to work with, haven't tried it yet but the foam is well rinsed and rid of the foam taste at this point (some boiling involved in that process).

The 801 has what I like about the 901, flavor and dense smooth fog, only more so! Also my particular 801 atty seems to be of lower resistance than my particular 901 atty. So maybe that's why its "more so" :)

The 510 is good too, but its of a different character, less smooth, more harsh.
