Wheezing and Hacking, When does it start?

I've been smoke free for dawning on about 2 weeks here, and I've read on many threads on here that eventually you'll start wheezing (From experience from quitting before i've noticed this) and hacking up phlegm/tar, I've yet to start the process whereas before when I'd quit Cold Turkey without the aid of A Electronic Cigarette the process would begin in about 3-5 days.

Thanks for any input
Cheers

I'm no expert, but I never did do the wheezing and hacking thing. Maybe because I keep quitting so soon after losing a quit? I think you may or maynot have to go through that. I'd think after two weeks, you would have already started if you were going to. If you don't have to go through that, good for you!

Haven't experienced any coughing, wheezing etc. I'd thought it was because 40+ years of heavy smoking had caused too much damage for my lungs to bother clearing themselves out and was actually disappointed though not surprised. Have to say a couple of months further down the line and lung function is improving dramatically so it's obviously never too late.

I never went through any of that either and the last time I tried "cold turkey" had been many years before.
I don't think it's written in stone that anyone has any of the side effects of quitting that you hear so much about here.
Other than some very interesting dreams, I had none of them. I still have the dreams though, which is o.k. by me. I don't remember ever having dreams like this in my life.

It'd be quite amazing if I didn't have to experience the wheeze, tends to give me anxiety, which would entail me wanting more cigarettes in the past. Love the fact my E-Cig is hindering these malfunctions, and 360's back into analogs.

I Hope once I start hitting the Gym once again Vapoor eyes er, that it'd do the same for me, I know I have disgusting smokers bile piled up on my lungs, despite me only smoking for 5 years.

Well smoking in general gave me quite a bit of phlegm, as well as throat problems on the regular. But generally the drainage would be happening from my nose, quite sure half my time smoking analogs I had nasal infections.

I always had them, too. I had been waiting for sinus surgery and finally had it a month or so after I started vaping. Between the two, it is a world of difference. Being able to breathe through my nose when I wake-up in the morning is fantastic! Most people take this for granted and I admit I do too, at times.

Thanks for reminding me to be Grateful!!

A little OT but wife, a non smoker, used to have about 8+ sinus infections per yr. Was taking antibiotics to heal these bouts. I discovered that the antibiotics not only destroy the bad bacteria but also the good bacteria. I suggested she take probiotics to replenish the good bacteria. Remarkably since beginning this program she now has maybe 1 sinus infection per year. Very troubling that the medical community knows of this issue yet generally refuses to educate clients. She now has a new Dr, a young man, who did explain probiotics and their benefit to her....finally.
