When to steep and how?

Morning all....okay so now I have some e-juice from my trip to the B&M vape store last night.
I have heard and read about the steeping thing.....the way I understand it, it is sort of like spaghetti sauce! It just tastes better the next day because all of the flavors blend together and sort of blossom. Is that right?

My question is how do I know what needs "steeping", how to do it, and for how long?

Thanks for your much valued and appreciated input!

The one to ask about juice steeping would be the juice seller. Assuming that he/she mixes his own juice. Ask him/her.

When I buy a new juice I vape it. If it's good, it's steeped enough. If it's not good I sit it aside for a week and try it again. After about 2 weeks and still not good, I loose interest.

You may have noticed that I take a minimal approach to steeping. Google 'ejuice steeping' lots of info available. Good or bad info, TDB

When I receive a new juice order in the mail, no matter what it is, fruit, candy, tobacco. I give it a good long hard shake. Remove the cap and dripper, leave it sit open for at least 24 hours. If it's fruit or something like bakery or candy juice I'll try it after that. Tobacco I let steep for weeks. I don't make a decision if I like anything or not until it's sat at least a week. I've found for the most part everything gets better with time. Of course there's some you still hate after week, and as said you loose interest. Just my :2c:

RIPtripper has a good video on youtube about steeping and breathing new ejuices. I came across it earlier today.

That really depends on who your ordering your juice from. I have found in some cases ill order a blueberry flavor from one vendor and when I get it it might taste GOD AWFUL, before trying again I'll let steep and in a week or so it will be just fine, however ordering that blueberry flavor from another vendor right out of the box it tastes GREAT and doesn't call for steeping. It really just depends on who the vendor your purchasing juice from is.

I know I am probably in the minority here, and I'm also new, and as such reserve the right to change my mind.:)

With that disclaimer out of the way, I will say that I don't have the patience or temperament to order something, wait for it to come in the mail, and then let it sit for weeks and not use it.

So, I am currently using the juices I have when I receive them. And, you know what, they have all been pretty good. Some of them I've now had for a few weeks, sitting there "steeping" while I have also been using them. I honestly can't tell any difference as time has gone by.

Maybe I am blessed with non-discerning taste buds or something, but that's okay with me. I look forward to filling my tanks with different stuff every day or so, and enjoy vaping it. And I am not smoking, which is the most important thing to me about all this.

Steeping is a long complex process that requires the proper temperature range, and oxidation cycles to do correctly. When there is sufficient oxidation of the flavor molecules and infusion into the base carrier, then it is usable, until then dont even consider it.

Okay thats out of the way... Steeping is the process of soaking a solid in a liquid to extract flavors from it (the solid) to blend with the fluid.
You dont steep juice since there is no solid in it to be removed when finished. Juice is aged ( wine, whiskey etc)

AGE your Juice :) and another note... NET's need aging.. the other juices just need to air out and blend/age a few days...

Jesus, people over complicate everything.
You want to know when to steep and how.
When you get a juice try it straight away. If you like it, perfect keep using it.
If you don't like it, stop using it and let it sit for a week or two, then try it again.

Hiding mobile.

Ooooh, noo, I use a hairdryer and rotate between bottles. AND, I'm sure others have their own ways, too.
