Quit smoking last week, on day number 9. My buddy at work turned me on to vaping. First i bought the Lavatube v2, next I just had to have a new Evic, followed up by a Totally Wicked vape Pro, and now within a week decided to go with a Mechanical mod, genesis atom..., and freaking love it. Rebuilding is the bomb, and fun too. I never expected this to turn into such a hobby, Is this normal, lol

Yes it can quickly become a hobby.... and you can drop a LOT of money on it. It's a very satisfying hobby though. I really enjoy rebuilding genesis atomizers too. It's fascinating how many different designs/setups that are out there and it's growing rapidly. Check out the Jazz Carto... it's a long pipe, very expensive but way cool looking. Not to many people can say their hobby saved their lives but most of us can safely say that vaping has.... 443,000 people die in the USA every year from smoking related diseases. I know myself how much better I feel, how much energy and vitality I've regained. Now our biggest hurtle is keeping the FDA/government from shutting us down and sending us all back to smoking.

anybody who goes back to smoking after an extended period of time of vaping, and uses the govt., FDA excuse?, that just sounds to me like we are looking for an excuse to go back to smoking. why would we want to go back to that misery?, are we not going to look like a bunch of losers if we do that?i know at work there is a percentage of people hoping for me to fall on my face. it is the greatest motivator i have not to go back ever. also after 12 days of no nicotine, i am proving my own theory that nicotine isn't the big bad drug we were all taught it was. if everyone on here can stay off the stinkies for a month?, then i tell all of you- you can go to 0 nicotine as well. it is no bigger step than the one we took when we put the cigs down in the first place. i consider now what happens to my vaping if the govt decides to tax and regulate nicotine products? at 0 nicotine what am i worried about? not very much.

It is normal for sure, i quit 3 weeks ago and started vaping. I started with a ego 1100mah battery, then bought SLB eGo-V V2 Mega - VV LCD 1200mah - Stainless, and now i have a itaste svd with about 18 different styles of tanks and clearomizers and about 500ml of liquid on hand. Still buying a ton liquid, atomizers, tanks, clearomizers, etc to find the most perfect vape even though i am fully satisfied with what i have. It is so much fun, which is pretty cool since smoking was never really fun for me, just an addiction.

I think what ever it takes to stay away from analogs is worth it... my wife on other hand is off looking for 12 step program for me..

Yes this is most definitely a hobby to me as well. It really only took me 2 weeks to stop smoking, Started on cigalike quickly moved to ego, within a week of that moved to ego-V, within a 2 weeks of that caught an Evic off the Classies and last week I bought the Sigelei Zmax telescope ...Why?..it was pretty. I just want a Provari and a mech next then im done ......and yes that is a blatant lie
