my e-power 14650 charger seems to have died. Both batteries show green when plugged in after use. No fiddling around seems to help either. I looked on google but cant seem to find anywhere local I can buy a charger at. Maybe I am putting in the wrong search terms? Can anybody help? The rated output is 3.7v at 300mah if that helps. This really bites cuz I am going out of town this weekend...and not to have my e-power working.... =( Thanks in advance for your help! BTW I am in Orlando, FL

I'm not sure if you're talking about the negative or positive terminal. I'm talking about the negative. Notice that the negative has a dimple in it. If the terminal gets bent back a little the bottom of it hits the battery on the blue ring and the dimple doesn't make contact.

With something to extend the spring, a 14500 battery will work if you have one (it might rattle a little).

Also, you might find a flashlight kit with every thing at a good price, then you have a flashlight and a backup battery to boot.

Here's hoping you get it going some way. :vapor:

There are Pila purests and if you have the money to spend, they are probably worth it but, I don't see one out there for the 14650. I use this one from madvapes for lots of stuff and it works well. It says it works for 14650s. I've only used it on 14500s and 18350s.

I'm guessing you have an e-power. How do you like it?

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if that charger, the TR-100, can handle 18650? If it can, then I can use the 14650.
As for the e-power, I really like it! Works great, when the batteries are charged! lol it's solid, gives a good vape with my new 2.0 LR atomizers and it's nice to be able to replace individual parts when needed. Just looking forward to the upgradeable parts they say are coming in the future. One thing I am not too happy about is the charger. That is old technology. Should not have to worry about that after just 5 weeks and 1 use a day. I am fine with the risk of new parts of e-cigs, but batts and chargers should be pretty stable in their QC. i also saw i think breezsmokes(?) has a 2200mah e-power that uses a 18650 batt. might be something to think about for the future. or just get parts to add on. Good luck and may your vaping be long lasting!

From the link I sent:

Works with most any cylindrical Li-Ion 3.7 volt batteries: 18650, 18500, 18350,17670, 16340, 14650, 14500, 14430, 10440.
(15270 and 14250 require a spacer. We use 3 dimes)..

So, look like 18650s are good. That's a cheap charger, buy two. Nothing lasts forever as you have found out and we can't just run to Wal-Mart for replacements.
