Where can I get a bottom wick that lasts longer than a day?

My set up is pretty simple. eGo style battery (made by TC Vapes) with pass thru, bottom feed clearo with stainless covering.

I like it. I honestly have no urge to upgrade or spend more on expensive equipment. This is reliable, I get what I expect from it, and it's all inexpensive enough that if I lose it or break it, my heart doesn't break too - I can go buy the exact same thing for around $35.

My only problem is wicks/coils. They're replaceable and SUPER easily - just unscrew the old one, toss it, screw on the new one.

All I need is to find a vendor or site with wick/coil assemblies that DON'T burn up in (sometimes) a day.

I vape pretty heavily, but not unreasonably heavily. The equivalent of about a pack a day. Maybe a little more sometimes. Discounting the occasional dud coil which everyone gets from time to time, they STILL don't last that long. I have very literally, no bluffing, gotten a burnt taste and a harsh hit in a DAY on occasion. I've tried buying them from different places, and I have found a place that sells slightly better ones, which last 3-4 days.

Am I expecting too much? Is 3-4 days on a coil with the amount I vape normal? I mean, I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. I don't let my tank run dry, in fact I fill it at the point where I KNOW there's still liquid above the wick to avoid that very thing. When I replace a wick, I prime it with a few drops of juice, fill the tank, and then let it sit for a few minutes before taking the first hit so I make doubly sure I'm not vaping dry. Is there something else I should be doing, or something I'm doing that I shouldn't be?

Otherwise I love what I have. This is the first "cheap" tank that has ever given me good, consistent hits with a good amount of vapor, doesn't leak all over the place, seats tightly, and doesn't flatten my battery (which is what killed one I had). It's just the wick issue.

Does'nt sound like it's actually burning up, just getting dirty. There are many factors that go into how long a coil will go before it's dirty enough to be unsatisfactory for any particular individual. This can change drastically just depending on what juice you're using. For me BWB Malty will clog up a coil after one tank and Janty RY4 will be good for 5 or 6 tanks, just depends. Just to be clear, I'm not talking specifically about bottom coil devices, I don't use them, just coils in general. Do you vape the same liquid all the time?

I'm getting 10 days to two weeks and sometimes longer on the Aspire bottom dual coil (BDC) heads, and this is just until they need cleaning. Most users are describing similar results.

The product as you describe it is the Aspire ET-S (ego thread clearo with stainless sheath).

Best of luck and let us know how it works out for you!

My Kanger Protank/Evod coils last for months and then I re-wick them with cotton. My original coil wires just now completely burnt out after 5 months. I avoided dry burning until the last couple months by soaking them in vodka overnight when the vapor production would decrease.

I have 7 tanks in rotation now and about 12 coils. I also had a brand new one burn up last week--dud. It should also be noted than I don't use thick, dark or very sweet liquids. I have noticed that my sweetest liquid does gunk up the coil faster.

I ordered 2.5 ohm heads from fasttech. I had been rebuilding my heads and using cotton for a few weeks prior. When I put the new head on it tasted burnt at 4 volts. I pulled the rubber chimney cap off and pulled the wick and replaced it with cotton. It now works incredible. 4.7 volts. Good flavor. Lots of vapor. I use cotton in all my devices now. Can't stand silica.
