1. Somewhere, maybe not on ECF, I remember seeing a comprehensive list of flavorings that are good/bad to use for DIY liquids. Can't find it again. Can someone point me in the right direction?

2. At the grocery store, I was interested in some almond and citrus extracts. I know not to use sugar (from BBQing experience), but are the lemon/orange oils, or the 85% alcohol a problem?

3. Assuming a generic tobacco base, what percentage of total flavoring should I start with, assuming they're OK to use?

4. Awesome forum - Once I got over the dizzying amount of info. Looks like I've got a new hobby.

1. Maybe the Guide to DIY Flavoring above this in the Sticky's?
2. I don't have any problems with citrus oils other than they are a bear to mix in PG/VG and they expand natural rubber tremendously. Sugars, gums, and veggie & mineral oils are not good, generally speaking. (a tiny amount of citrus oil goes a loooooong way and then there is the mixing issue)
3. I have no idea what you're asking or mean to ask here and I get the impression it is like asking for a standard sized window. (Which leaves the windows folks confused because there is no standard sized window no matter how many customers ask for one.)
4. Yep, lots of info here. Lots of helpful folks. It is fun, and that's the reason I keep mixing.

Hoosier,
Thanks for the info.
I bought (noob frenzy) some 48mg from Tasty Vapor that just says tobacco, and I don't vape much over 12mg, so was just wondering what to do with it that wouldn't taste simply watered down. Opened up the wallet before my brain knew what to do with the stuff.

Also bought some 50/50 base liquid, and 7 assorted flavorings. I SHOULD have waited a month or two.

I got an Ultimate Vanilla Doubler from TV, but really don't like it at all. Was hoping to mix it with the 48mg Tobacco and/or other things. I'll let it sit for a while, and see if the plastic/industrial off taste goes away.

I'll keep trying things. Just mixed Wintergreen with Spearmint; now I can vape Toothpaste. Back to the lab!

That made me LOL, quite literally!

I love my wint-o-mint mix .. I go heavier on the wintergreen (3x) than the spearmint, add a couple drops of homemade menthol, and a bit of EM. It's delicioussss.. Like Lifesavers Wint-o-Green candies!

I agree, I try lots of mixes but I always go back to my tried and true mints and menthols..
