I've been looking to get some of the 4/8 oz bottles for storing mixed juice and some 20/30 ml filling bottles. I looked at US Plastic and they have the larger bottles but no 20/30 ml bottles or 24-410 spouts. Looked at a couple places that had small order fees. I wonder if i just haven't been finding the places you all use.

I'm leaning towards the USP 4/8 oz bottles and getting 20/30ml and the spouts somewhere else MFS maybe. If you have any recommendations i'd really appreciate it.

The best prices for glass bottles (in a huge variety of colors, sizes, shapes, types of caps, etc.) is Glass Bottle Outlet, located in Florida. I've compared the top 3 places most people on the ECF get their bottles from...and for glass, GBO beats them all! They ship pretty quickly, too, and their packing for shipment is usually top-notch as well.

I've ordered the 2oz., 4oz., and 8oz. Amber Glass Boston Round Bottles with Phenolic Polycone Caps for storing all my Nic base. The 2oz. with the cap was $.41 each. The 4oz. with the cap was $.48, and the 8oz. with the cap was $1.18. You can select them with other types of caps though, if you want a different kind.

For plastic bottles to put your DIY eliquids in...after comparing the prices and quality of the plastics in the bottles, the dropper tips, and the child resistant caps...I get mine now from DropperBottles.com. You need to order in bulk (100), but Brad (the owner) let me get (60) 50mL bottles and (40) 30mL bottles. Each comes with the thin tipped dropper tip and the child resistant cap. You could even get a couple people (local vaping friends?) who each want 50 of some size to go in with you, to make an order for 100 total.

The ONLY 3 things I use glass bottles for are:

(1) Longterm storage of my liters of 100mg/mL Nic base in VG in the freezer (I use the Amber colored with polycone caps)

(2) To transfer DIY flavorings into them, when I receive them from some companies in plastic bottles (clear are fine).

(3) A small bottle of Nic Base in VG (30mL at most) that I keep in my DIY kit.

For everything else (bottling of my DIY eliquids in any quantities, my working bottle of PG, my working bottle of VG)...I use LDPE, PP, or HDPE plastic bottles. I never use the #1 PET bottles (triangle recycling symbol with 1 in it on the bottom of the bottle), since they're for 1-time use only (like for water bottles).

I <3 glass bottles also, BPA free and other toxins also. I'm no means a scientist but if water can break down materiel, so can juice in liquids stored in plastic.

It seems really stupid that i find bottles but the site doesnt have the 24/410 spouts available too.

There are sites that have those bottles and spouts. However, they're not the most common, as the 20/400, 22/400, and 28/400 ones are for the 2oz., 4oz., and 8oz. bottles.

I make my largest batches of eliquids in 5oz. (150mL) or 8oz. (240mL) HDPE bottles that have screw-on caps on them. When I want to transfer some, to say a 30mL or 50mL more workable size with a thin, dropper tip and child resistant cap...I just use a small funnel to move it.

The 3 kinds of plastics I mentioned above, are fine for storing eliquids in them. That's one reason why so many manufacturers use them for their eliquids. The quality of the plastic is important, to be sure. That's why not all types of plastics should be used for them.

HDPE plastic is the highest quality, and does not leach plastic components into its contents, and is highly resistant to the chemicals stored in it. I bought mine from a manufacturer who makes all kind of plastics for the scientific laboratory, medical, and educational science fields. I didn't buy the cheap made in China plastic bottles. There IS a difference in them.

If I can find my link to the website that shows which types of plastics are safe...I'll post it here.

I was basing my info on these listings from USP:
Cylindrical Sample Bottles with Caps | U.S. Plastic Corp.

4 oz. White Cylindrical Sample Bottle with 24/410 Ca
4 oz. White Cylindrical Sample Bottle with 24/410 Cap | U.S. Plastic Corp.

8 oz. White Cylindrical Sample Bottle with 24/410 Cap
8 oz. White Cylindrical Sample Bottle with 24/410 Cap | U.S. Plastic Corp.

12 oz. White Cylindrical Sample Bottle with 24/410 Cap
12 oz. White Cylindrical Sample Bottle with 24/410 Cap | U.S. Plastic Corp.

So i didn't realize those weren't common use. Definitely not trying to argue, just trying to understand where i went wrong.

The best 60ml plastic dropper bottles I have came from MyFreedomSmokes.com. They appear to be the same material as most of the bottles that I get from other vendors, but they have the thin dropper tip that actually fits the fill hole in a Kayfun Lite Plus V2 or the KF 3.1. There's no description that says HDPE, but the appearance and feel seems the same. There's no dripping when filling with these tips.

For my piece of mind all lifetime supply of nic and separate concentrated flavorings stored in glass cobalt and amber bottles from specialty bottles outfit

I agree that for storage of DIY materials and nic and even large quantities of mixed juice you need something that doesn't deteriorate or leech plastic into the juice. I don't care for glass bottles with a separate dropper for filling atomizers, though.

A 60ml HDPE bottle of juice is about 5 or 6 days vaping for me.

I'm new to DIY, but feel the same about concentrated stored nic being in glass. Otherwise, I've used both glass and plastic for prepared juice. I actually use mostly 15 ml cobalt blue glass as I don't like to mix more than 15 ml at a time until I'm satisfied with the flavor/mix. If it's good, I'll mix more and generally keep them in 30 or 60 ml plastic bottles which go straight into use (well, after sitting a while to steep).

I also keep my 100 mg nic in those little glass bottles in my mix box to draw from when making juice. As I'm never making large volumes at this point, one or two 15 ml bottles last quite some time, and I don't have to worry about either having too much out of cold storage, or not worry if I knock the bottle over, I'm going to spill a ton of juice all over.

I should add that if you are going to be using an ultrasonic cleaner, crockpot, or other heat source to "steep" your eliquids...you should use glass bottles to do that. I don't use those methods at all, so putting my eliquids in the plastics I mentioned above...is fine.

I remember last week, cleaning out some glass dripper bottles to reuse again; washed them in the sink, then I put one in the microwave to speed up the drying process with the precipitation in the inside. Come to find out, I answered the door, talked to friend for a minute, came back, open the microwave, and the glass bottle has a huge melted hole in the middle, it melted. Kind of weird, I've never seen glass do that in the microwave. I only reuse my "premium" liquid glass dripper bottles, not sure if they're even 100% glass, but it's true and thought I'd share.

*EDIT* Not sure if anyone has seen that happened. I'm not trying to debate, I was just surprised at that, that's all. Great info in this thread from all btw.

You've got a very powerful microwave, or it's Chinese glass.
The melting point of glass is 1350 deg f.
Not doubting you, but very strange...:vapor:

I agree. Why I thought I'd share. Took the dripper top cap off, a little precipitation in the inside, microwaved for maybe 2 minutes, would've taken out sooner but answered the door, and walah. I'm not ever going to do that but glass doesn't melted, as you've mentioned, unless it's an extremely high temp. It'd be a shame if Suicide Bunny's glass manufacturer did use Chinese glass.
