Where do you put the Noalox on the PV2?

My Prodigy V2 switch misfires constantly, so after reading about the Noalox I went to Home Depot and got a small tube, but I am confused as to exactly where it goes in the switch. I'm just not familiar with Noalox.

Howdy. Once you have taken out the button and spring put a small amount on each of the silver contact posts

I put it on every contact post and thread and it works great just use it sparingly as a little goes a long way

i just got my v2...and it was misfiring alot...i just applied some noalox...hopefully it will solve the issue

No problem Centrella Just be carefull on the threads of the atty you dont want it going into the hole. It really does help on all PV's AcidrAVE

It seems to me that the ring on the button gets oxidated. What I did was clean the ring really good and apply the Noalox to the ring, just a thin coating, and I haven't had a misfire yet!

Yeah, I put a thin coat of Ox-Guard (same stuff as Noalox) on the ring after cleaning it up good. I also put some on the switch contact points, the contacts on both ends of the switch and on the two threaded ends. Covered all bases, just to be safe. After applying Ox-Guard to all the electric contact points everything started working perfectly. No misfires whatsoever.

Puresmoker should seriously consider treating at least the rings with Noalox or Ox-Guard before shipping the devices. I think that that extra step would save consumers a LOT of headaches.

I don't use it on any threads, just the two contact posts and the washer. Redo once per week. Works like a champ now.

I'll have to start doing that. Mine worked perfectly for two weeks but it's starting to become unreliable again. Time for another treatment.
