Where in Canada?

St. John's here. I've been having a bit of a rough go trying to get into this vaping thing. I now have a couple of new 901 kits from another supplier, but was badly burned by e-puffer. Love the e-cig and barely miss analogs at all. I'm still trying to get a handle on a regular supplier so if anyone has any advice, I'm all ears.

Welcome to our hole in the ground Margaret.....

I think we'll start seeing Canadian suppliers stabilizing their inventories and growing pains over the next month or so.

Everything started coming to fast as far as the popularity and general interest exposure worldwide since the newscasts. Couple that with the Chinese New Years month long shutdown causing a massive shortage of stock availablity and what do ya got ?? A bunch of ...... off consumers that WANT THEIR NEW TOYS NOW !!! LoL

New member as well, born/raised Toronto, I found out about e-cigs randomly searching online and thought they would be a great gift for my mom, njoy.com is really what sold me on them. Got her an Npro and she was skeptical at first but definitely was impressed in the end, the thing is she still goes for analogs every now and then. So I decided to do some research seeing that there was more than one product/supplier on the market and ended up here scouring the forums all the time like a crazy person. Lots of awesome info. on here and its opened my eyes to whats available and even to the point where I would seriously consider going into this business if I had the resources. I placed an order with puresmoker.com for my self and i'm thinking of going with the dura-c for my mom, hopefully get her off analogs for good. Oh and being in Canada I think i'll go with zerotar.com for the juice for less of a shipping fee. Any feedback regarding these choices would be great. thanks.

Hi to you all the lovely Canucks on this site. :)
I was born in Toronto, but moved to the great white north. (kind of) I've been living north of Parry Sound for 20 plus years. Hometown of the great Bobby Orr.
Nice to see a site designated for us.
I haven't received my first orders for starter kits, but none of my purchases were from Canada. My first is coming from China (ebay) and the other from the USA. (Totally Wicked)
Preferably I would like to locate a reliable and quality Canadian supplier to reduce shipping costs and not have to fret about our over efficient officials at customs.
Looking forward to hearing about any of your successful purchases.

Can I join? Vancouver born, close family ties to Victoria, but did most of my growing up in Edmonton. Now resident in London, but with a son in Vancouver and a sister in Saskatchewan, I'm hoping to return for good in the next few years.

Started with the supermini last September before I found this forum, graduated to the 901, then the penstyle which I use full time now together with the usb through battery and an apc power pack when I'm on the move.

Originally I only wanted these things for long haul flights, hotel rooms and so on, but inadvertently found myself using them most of the day. So, without even trying, I've cut down from 25 cigarettes to around 5 a day, mainly first thing in the morning when the e-cig doesn't quite cut it. I never intended to quit cigarettes entirely and maybe I never will, but for the time being I'm more than happy with the results.

I've been thinking Centre Du Rasoir would be a good retail location for e-cigs, it's kind of a "personal care" item after all, and that's their main category.

Have to check in too!- great to have our own place on the forum

I'm in Montreal..and from the beginning bought from Puresmoker..first the kits then parts..then ejuice..
Never tried Smoke51 and do see them selling behind the pharmacist counter but love my setup right now - classic pens & 901s..simple..

Kiviuq, make sure you are really paying less for shipping. When I ordered from a *Canadian* (ok, epuffer, there I said it) supplier, the prices on their site were in USD and you have to pay GST on everything, usually that includes shipping charges. I ended up paying a fortune for what I got (which didn't work and I am having trouble getting a refund). I paid $100.93 CD for my two 901 kits from the US (ecigsupply.com) and $167 CD for the single 808 kit from epuffer and shipping worked out to roughly $20 CD in both cases. Delivery times weren't that different either.

I've sent ZeroTar an email asking a couple of questions but I don't expect an answer until tomorrow. Whether or not they promptly answer questions can be an indication of the kind of service you can expect from a supplier.

I found a supplier in Canada so that can save some money on shipping costs (electronic-cigz.com), their prices are in USD, but when i factor in the shipping makes it worthwhile. My wife likes some of the flavours from Johnson Creek. Shipping from Johnson Creek in the US was much more than at this site.

Hi Margaret, I am just curious about the product you got from epuffer? I am new here and after I put in my order ($238 for an elite mini kit and 1 bottle of juice) I found all sorts of bad reviews for epuffer, I am a little worried, and choked that I spent so much. Also, anyone here can explain what model I might have bought? It is called the elite mini on epuffer, I noticed there seems to be a common model across the many brands, am I likely to get compatible parts for this somewhere else? This has become an expensive habit already and I am not even actually started.... I bought an e cig from ecigarettescanada and so far am not sure if I am using it wrong, or it just sucks (it was only $50 something for the starter kit) I am waiting to get the juice to see if it was just the cartridges, they seem dry to me. But I am hopeful that esmoking will get me off these cancer sticks once and for all!
Thanks!

hey WC, I put a small test order in there as well. Going to see how it turns out. I REALLY REALLY hope they are a decent Canadian supplier with good customer service. If they are, they could make out really well. If it's another EPuffer, I'm going to be one sad panda.

I agree, i will probably place my orders for e-cigs with intellicig, but if i can get the rest from electronic-cigz.com at a reasonable price with good customer service its a win win. They have cases, USB mains adapter and carts compatible with the Evo.

Damn !!! I never even noticed that on the site (teach ME for just assuming)...... And I think its stupid we have to deal with exchange rate shortcomings, especially for me being in the same damn Province !!

Just know this about that seller:

-They are BRAND NEW.

-They just got their hardware stock in last week.

-They are not releasing JC yet due to not having the 30ml bottles they were expecting last Friday (which means they'll still need time once they DO get them to transfer from their 1L bottles to the selling product. This also goes for their carts).

-After running a Google Maps on their address, I'm now concerned with this volatile liquid being transfered from within, what appears according to the search, A HOUSE !! Its safe to say my concerns are about sanitary handling procedures within a home setting.

I certainly do hope their set up well and properly, and are able to provide decent customer service and regular supply, because we sure do need a reputable juice supplier here in Canada and even better....... a JC Juice supplier !!

Too bad their carts wont work on the disposable cart interchangeable list.

Time will certainly tell I suppose........

Hey smokum, I'm waiting to see if they contact me to inform me that order will be delayed or if they will just backorder with no notification (in spite of my paying for overnight shipping).

Either way it's a small order (60 bucks) but it should give me enough to decide whether I will start using them as a supplier.

I hope they pick up a good penstyle to add to their mix.
