I don't know how many times I have put down my PV just to find it in a bit of a strange place, but I didn't think I would ever leave my PV on a higher level shelf of my bookcase! The funny thing was I didn't know it was missing (I have 4 510 batteries) until I went back to the bookshelf to find another book!

Where was the strangest place you misplaced your PV?

I would have to agree with Fire, that thing is never further than 3 feet from me at all times. Unless! I am running to the store or something in which case I find that I don't need to vape. That's the great thing about quitting smoking and vaping instead, it would appear my overall need for nicotine has drastically reduced. Though, when I am home, I vape some pretty heavy rain clouds pretty consistantly :)

If I ever find any of the PVs I've misplaced, I'll let you know. PVs wander off to wherever my glasses always go and they're probably somewhere near the hundreds of bic lighters I lost when I was smoking and buried under a mountain of pens hidden amongst thousands of screwdrivers, wrenches, and sockets.

The only time I've lost a PV and later found it was maybe 2 weeks ago. I spent a half hour looking for the ego I was using. I looked high and low in my garage, in my car, around my computer, in the kitchen... only to find it in my left hand.

A couple of weeks ago I was driving back from a weekend of boarding in the mountains. I was driving back and had my 510 with me. I suddenly realized that I could not find my pv anywhere! I pulled over tore the entire front seat apart. I had everyone in the car searching for it for about 5 minutes. Finally gave up and said I would find it when I got home. About 30 minutes later I was scratching my head and found my 510. I had stuck it up behind my ear under my beanie. Needless to say i got a little harassment from the friends on that one.

Other than that I don't really every loose my PV. Sometimes the couch likes to try and eat it though! Oh and having a chuck now makes it a lot harder to loose!

On my honeymoon, at Kings Island. Came out of my pocket on the Diamondback rollercoaster. As the train pulled into the station I heard someone a few cars back say "Who lost this pen?" I didn't think anything of it at that moment. As soon as we left the exit of the ride I reached into my pocket, looked at my wife and said "Hey, that was my pen." Ended up getting it back at the end of the day at the lost and found booth at the front of the park. Security guard said "We have all been wondering what this thing is since we got it." I replied "Its my lifesaver. I have been six months without cigarettes thanks to it."

I lost an Ego battery for six weeks before it turned up. I was convinced I had it in my lap when I took a nap in my recliner. I searched every inch of that chair several times, upside down and sideways. I shook, jolted it, reached my hands down deep into it... all to no avail. So I searched the rest of the living room, under tables and sofas, convinced the cats had stolen it for a toy. Finally gave up and ordered a new one.

Then I found it totally by accident. I was getting ice cubes and something black caught my peripheral vision up high. It was lying on the white rubber seal along the top of the freezer door, where it had apparently been securely nestled for weeks after I stood it up on top of the fridge. It apparently fell over and rolled into the crack at the top of the freezer door, and for all the dozens of times my wife and I had opened that door, it was snugly settled into that groove up there and never fell.
