I'm a weighmaster in a refinery. My office area is down at the end of the hall. I'm vaping the whole 12hrs I'm there. During the weekday shifts when the office workers are in I can hear them comming down the hall so no problems there. When I'm on nights I don't have to worry about anyone so that's good. I've only told a few trusted co-workers about it. Non-smokers but they are very happy for me. Unfortunately none of the few smokers I've mentioned it to were very interested.:p I will not ask permission to use it inside as there are too many antis working in the office. Been vaping over 9 months and they haven't caught me yet ha ha!!:D

MAybe if there was a juice that tasted like what it was supposed to but the vapor smelled like "Febreze" we'd all be free to vape!

I work for a very large retail chain that starts with a W. We have a smoke break room that I've used since day one. I still vape in there because I really don't think they will allow me to vape in the non-smoking room. They are very close minded so I haven't asked. I do however really want to get away from the smokers in there. I stink after being in there, yuck!

I work as a Intuitive Life Coach, I mainly work from home but I also work with clients in person. When I'm at home I vape away. But I generally don't vape in-front of clients, unless they are smokers. However, I talk about it non stop. I was a closet smoker now I'm a marketer for the e-cig. I talk about it every chance I get!

I work at Best Buy and I don't use my PV on the sales floor for professional appearance but I do vape the the break room quite often. All of the employees have asked me what it is and I have explained....my PV is just another part of their work day. Some people make comments on how they love the smell (I primarily vape Pina Colada) others just eat their food and shoot the .... with me.

I'm an RF technician at a major defense electronics contractor.... soon after I started vaping, 7 of my coworkers made the switch. Human resources said it's not smoking, and not tobacco use, so there is nothing they can do to prohibit us from vaping on the job.

We still exercise discretion, depending on who is around, but it's not uncommon for me (us) to leave clouds behind me while walking down the hallway at 10:30 at night.

Systems engineer at a big systems integrator. 100% smoke and tobacco free policy in our facilities, including parking lots. e-cigs don't fall under the policy -- neither tobacco nor smoke.

I'm low-key, vape a lot at my desk, but not around clients. Coworkers think it's cool.

I'm a lawyer, and when I am in my office, I vape constantly. If I am writing a brief or pleading, and have writer's block, one hit of nicotine does the trick! ;)

At the courthouse, when I smoked cigarettes, I was often in agony since I had to go downstairs and outside to have a smoke. Now, although I would never even think about vaping during an actual proceeding, I can slip around the corner to a stairwell or restroom for a few vapes during a break or recess, or when waiting my turn for a hearing.

I practice mostly family law, and have one at least 4-5 child custody cases (and lost a couple) due in large part to the fact that a parent was in the habit of smoking around the child(ren) in question. Even when my kids were young, whenever I smoked I always went outside where they couldn't even see me, let alone breathe the smoke.

Interestingly, last week I was in a stairwell when one of the judges who is a smoker ran into me while I was having a vape. He was absolutely fascinated by my eGo, and I gave him the URL for this forum.

Work at a hospital which recently banned smoking campus-wide. Used to have a smoking area in an outdoors area, but now everyone has to go off property (sidewalk) to smoke.

I only asked my department head if I could openly use my PV, jokingly, which resulted in simple "Just don't let anyone see you." Unfortunately, there is almost always people around where I work and there are times where I don't get a break all day. I do manage to sneak puffs here and there to keep my head clear though. Thinking about trying out stealth-juice.

Network Admin (BOFH)/IT guy/helpdesk/peon. I vape in my office, workroom, server room, and anywhere else that nobody is "looking".

I told the owner of the company, a fairly rabid ex-smoker, that I had quit analogs, and he got all excited, and then I told him I replaced them with the PV. He closed down immediately, and I haven't heard a word since. He's getting up there in years, (70+), and I think he just doesn't get it. A few years ago, he tried to institute a policy that would have resulted in anyone with nicotine in their body losing their job. I think an attorney explained to him that it just wouldn't fly.

I don't worry much about it, I just don't do it publicly at work.

Pool leagues, so far, I've vaped openly at every bar we've played at. I try to contact the owner of the bar ahead of time, or at least talk to the manager when I get there early to practice.
