Stores around me do not carry it, the only carry the cosmetic kind so I gave up looking for it locally. Can anyone recommend a trust worthy place online to purchase some at? Also I need a good glass dropper as well...the ones in the store are mega cheap and hardly have any suction to them and just make a huge mess!

Thanks

You can use drug store brand USP glycerin. Many do, such as CVS brand or Humco brand from Wallmart. Its likely to be vegetable based, but its not required to be, and could be from animal fat. technically it is the same glycerin.

That said, I use NOW brand VG, which Amazon seems to be having a sale on now. It is food grade, and does not have the USP label, I suspect for technical reasons, but it is very pure, uses a non-harsh method to make it, and I think it tastes much better than drug store brand. Very popular brand around here for DIY. Highly recommended.

Whole Foods sometimes sells it, as well as Heritage brand. More expensive, but also very good.
