Just a couple of small points. One is that the automatic batteries have a hole at the top of the battery connector where air passes through in order to activate the battery. That means that liquid can work its way into the battery compartment and ruin the hardware, though it's rare if you're careful with your gear.

Second is that the automatics need a little primer puff to get the atomizer up to full heat, whereas you can activate the manual battery a moment before you start your draw so that it's pre-heated.

But it's really more a personal preference situation. I like both, but I tend to use my manuals more often. Others use automatics exclusively.

I'd have to agree innovapor has the best deals i've seen and costomer service is great...I'd highly recommend checking the site out i'm very happy with they way they work... Should get my order anytime now.... And as far as the 510 being ugly i'd have to say the beauty is in the way it performs, thats where the true beauty is in the 510.

Beauty or ugliness is in the eyes of the beholder. I've certainly never thought my 510 was ugly! :p

So I gotta ask...what is your 'better looking' one?

Well I really would like to use an M401. But I have some safety concerns with the thing. At least with the units I tried.

I'm going with a white DSE901 with black cartridges, because they are refillable. I learned how to clean the attys OK. I'm planning on securing the fillers to the cartridges with a drop of Elmer's glue.

I'm sure this was more info than you cared to hear. I've been addicted to forums before. It's nothing new :)
