Yeah, I'm really torn between waiting and getting the 6 month warranty, or having it NOW but only 14 day warranty :(

I've had my Dura-C for over 3 weeks now and love it so much I was going to order another Dura-C kit from jantyusa.com. But since they're out I just hopped over to David's site at eastmall.net and ordered 2 510 starter kits for $42 a kit.

If you have some extra bucks and are willing to chance the warranty, you can have one in your hands in 7 - 10 days. I've never had (cross my fingers) any problems with David's products.

Order some liquid and you can keep using your e-cig. Either refill the carts or just drip some liquid directly on the atomizer. I have to tell you, if you love it using a cart you are going to flip over direct dripping. And then you are going to do back flips when you get a hold of a 510.

Judging from the size your e-cig is either a KR-808A (89mm) or a dse084 (84mm).

Thanks dumwaldo. I'd say it's a dse 084; it measures 84mm, not counting the LED. Could also be a kr-808b, also 84mm, but the atomizer only has one hole, which would seem to indicate it's the dse 084. I'd like to buy another battery for it, but I'd be taking a chance since I'm not positive what model it is.

The liquid is a great suggestion; what's so great about putting it directly on the atomizer? Any idea where I could get liquid with really fast shipping? Any brand of liquid you prefer?

That's my problem, funds are real tight so I really could use that 6 month warranty :(

just don't order from johnson creek and expect it to get to you fast, that just does not happen.

I can not really offer any other suggestions since I am on the other coast so I would have to think what is fast for me is slow for you and what is slow for me could be fast for you. I would like to tell you eliquidplanet, the guys that run is are really great guys but I don't know how long it would take to get from this coast to your coast.

The only other liquid companies I have ordere from are PureSmoker who no longer sells liquids and Juicy Liquiud who seem to be very light on stocked juice packs (i just get unflavored from them).

As far as dripping goes...

Imagine the very first hit off a cart but without the juice leaking into your mouth. That nice strong sensation the vapor gives going down when you first start a cart is what all your hits will be like once you start dripping.

OK, here's the scoop: I emailed Ethan at Janty. He replied that yes, they're expecting a new shipment of Dura-Cs by 6/4; HOWEVER, he doesn't know if it will be a big shipment or not. To me, that says that if I go ahead and order now and the shipment turns out to be small, then all the people who ordered before me will get theirs first, and I may not get mine until the next shipment after that, whenever that may be. So, I'm still undecided, but leaning toward a JoyE or Yeti 510, warranty be damned.

Yup, that's exactly what I've been looking at. The only thing is, I emailed the guy a couple of days ago and haven't heard back, which makes me leery.

I believe the warranty is only 14 days, but I'm not positive about that.

I was thinking of buying this for starters and then ordering replacement batts/atomizers from Janty as I need them, but I don't know if the parts are interchangeable among the different brands of 510s; does anybody know?

Yes, I am pretty sure they are interchangeable.......

Well then I guess I'll get the Yeti 510 from ElectroNicStix and take it from there. Gotta do something, because I'm not even liking the analogs anymore. See, here in WA State, cigs have to be fire resistant now. I just bought my first carton of fire resistant Camel Lights 99s and I HATE them. If you don't constantly puff on them, they go out (what about INCREASED fire risk from re-lighting them all the time??). Also, they seem more loosely packed, the draw feels different, it's just not the same. Not to mention cig prices here are among the highest in the country. The Nanny State is alive and well here in WA.

So, who the heck offers that?

Smoking Everywhere has a complete 1 year warranty on everything including the atomizers. Of course nobody on this forum was silly enough to to think a warranty was worth paying extra for. Well not till a few days ago when Ludo defended his prices by claiming a superior warranty and a few people started thinking it was a legitimate claim.
