I purchased a VVV carto tank, the polypro one right before they went out of business. Just yesterday, I lost the thumb screw, and since VVV is closed down, I obviously can't order from them.

They said https://www.thevaporbarstore.com has taken over their business and inventory, but that VVV's inventory won't be available just yet.

Does anyone know where I can order a replacement thumb screw? If any other carto tanks use the thumb screw, I'm sure itll be the same size.....so does anyone know of another company that sells similar tanks?

The vaporbarstore should have Ray's inventory up in the next day or two. But if not, PM me your mailing address. I picked up a few extra ones before Ray shut down, and would be happy to give you one.

That's just one of the reasons that I'm not a fan of the juice fill holes on cartotanks.

Try Texas Tuff Tanks. Texas Tuff Tanks™ These are essentially the same tanks that Ray sold.

Yep, and I took your advice and got an IBTanked carto tank, and I'm loving it :)

For the price, the triple v polypro tank is nice....especially since it was my first carto tank. I wanted to try out a carto tank first and see if I even liked them before taking the plunge and ordering an IBTanked, and I'm glad I did :)

The Texas Tuff Tank is actually a copy of the VVV tanks and uses a metric screw. The VVV tanks used a 6/32 screw and can be found in lots of places, including a computer case. The thumbscrews used on computer cases are generally 6/32. You can also find these on eBay

You rock! I used to repair computers for a living, so I have a box with thousands of extra PC thumbscrews! Just tried one out, it fits perfectly. Thank you so much!

I'm gonna let it sit in some rubbing alcohol for a while, and hopefully I'll be good to go!

I emailed them about availability of the colored grommets and o rings and no one ever got back to me, is there anywhere I can get those online? I miss your site! Also hope you are doing better Ray :)
