First WELCOME to REOVILLE.

After using a BuzzPro for 6 months and now using my Reo Grand for a week...the only MINOR critisim I have is

1) I wish the Reo Grand had a magnet at the bottom to keep the door from rattling. Its not bad, and Im already use to it.

2) as others have side the top botton is slightly awkward...but no biggie.

But I will say I havent touched my Buzz since I got my Cisco 1.5 ohm attys to go with my grand. I LOVE the vape this thing gives.... and I doubt I will ever go back to using Cartos. My Buzz will be a good backup...but my Reo Grand is permenantly by my side.

Now if some fine leatherworker would make a "holster" for it that would hang from my belt...kinda like a cell phone.

Welcome buddy!

Hey!

Mention the drip tips are for comfort! I went through 10 pages of posts wondering why ya'll had drip tips on bottom feeders! I finally busted into chat and asked them. :p

So I was watching youtube videos and happened across the vmod review by grimmgreen, I really dug the bottom feeding, compact aspect of it and quickly learned through other videos (mergryphon?) that the Reosmod is the way to go for this style of mod. Although I do like the looks of the vmod a tad more, I don't like the fact that it seems to be rather fiddley. I like to fiddle, don't get me wrong, I'd just prefer it be on my terms, not in the midst of a nicotine-withdrawing melt-down.

I've watched several videos of different types and the Reo just gets me with how tidy it is, inside and out.

So, I've pretty much decided on the Reo Grand (btw, thanks for everyone that contributed in my new member thread, I knew I could count on the Reonaughts charging in on fresh meat) My roommate just got a Volt and it uses the 18650 battery as well. I spent the day thinking his had two of those batteries and that is why it was so powerful...oops, nope, just the one. So I feel a lot better about going with the Grand.

The lack of pass-thru options is a bit of a bummer for me, as I became accustomed to that with my 510. I guess remembering to cycle out my batteries takes less time than running to the store for smokes, so I can deal with that.

I'd kind of like to ask what you do NOT like, or what you would change about your Reos, and please, don't answer with "I don't have enough of them" since I've gathered that is a pretty common complaint. :)

I've pretty much made up my mind, all I need now is $200.

congratulations and welcome!!!
This calls for a banana dance!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Start a thread or post a pic in the family photos. I d love to see your REOs!!!

I'll do that. Maybe I'll get them etched first. I'm occupying my time with a marathon of breaking bad this week. Television, snack food, friends curry, tabletop games, and beer between semesters. Just like when I was a teen (more than a decade ago, with no beer, and MST3K isn't on the air anymore). I don't know how my wife copes, but she seems to be comfortable enduring my nostalgia. Maybe I'll pick up a purple/purple for her as a treat. She'd like having a Reo of her own. Anyway, I'm neglecting my show and company now, and a car just exploded, So I'd better be on my way. Thanks for the welcome everyone! Now back to your scheduled thread, sorry for the interruption.

Now understand I adore my grand (my main vape) with that being said, the weight and boxed corners can be tiresome at times for this old womans arthritic hands, times like those I have to revert to another mod until it lets up. I would love to see Rob make us old ladies a more oval design and shave some weight off. I am not a fan of the mini's as the battery does not do it for me at all even fresh and small things are even harder to manipulate. Now my hubby and son have tried both and prefer the mini...go figure....hmmm after writing and reading thorugh this post I may have to try a Woodville...but can't ever catch them up for sale and worry about them being heavier.

On the Grand, more rounded would indeed be a nice improvement, but I really don't know how you would do that and have a door the slides correctly also.

They could be milled exactly like the woodvil is shaped .... all nice and rounded with the door sliding in the grooves the very same.... Rob probably has one kicking around just like that :D
