Ok I screwed up, I bought the 901 as my first pv not enough vapor even trying all the cart mods however I love it on a 5vpt. I switched to 510 more vapor but hate the short batt life however I love it on a 5v pt as well. Unfortantely I have about 12 batts for the two models. I now know I want a 5v model but they cost so much I want one that is realiable and last a long time. I am so sick of chasing the holy grail. Which 5v model would be realiable and last a long time?

I'm a bit confused. The title of your post says "5v pv" (i.e., personal vaporizer), yet the body of your post uses "pt" (i.e., passthrough) twice.

If you are talking about 5V personal vaporizers, there aren't too many. The best known is the $70 Puresmoker Prodigy V2. NHaler's $75 XHALER works at many voltages, including 5V. [Neither price includes batteries or charger, available separately.]

BTW, another direction to go would be a 6V Mod used with a "high voltage atomizer" that recently has appeared on the scene. As I understand it (notice that emphasis; I'm quite non-technical), these HV attys have a higher resistance, bringing the effective power of the device down to around what a 5V Mod with regular atty would yield. I know you can get such HV atomizers (801, 901, or 510) from NHaler and Eastmall, probably other places as well. There are many (excellent) 6V Mods; each has loyal fans. Some of the best known are Chuck and Silver Bullet (both Vapy Award winners), as well as GG Transformer, Copper, AdapteveR, Super-Six, and the already-mentioned XHALER.

The two premier 5V USB passthroughs I know of (from U.S. suppliers) are the $80 VP Passthrough and the $70 Puresmoker Manual USBpass V2. They each come with the adapter of your choice, including 510. Of course, at those prices, they better be "premier." [From what I've read, they are.]
