Hi all, quick question, not sure what clearo this is, its got a little leaking problem when I'm using it, and wanted to search for solutions, but not sure which model it is, think its a vision ego ce4, but not rebuildable!

Thanks in advance :)

I received a couple of those with my vamo kit and I almost threw them away after I tried it because of the burnt taste but decided to keep them, but after a couple of days I decided to try it again and it works pretty good with no burnt taste. I guess you have to let the wicks soak pretty good for them to work.

Looks like a Ce4, I've also got burnt taste from the disposables but I use a rebuildable with a 1.8ohm thick wick for my "on the go" and it hits like a champ.

Yea mine were disposable too, I tried cleaning them filling with juice letting them sit 1st for 2days then for over a week and still burnt I gave up threw one away cus i pretty much broke it investigating the coils and the other is jus on my desk with juice still.
I wanna try the rebuildables, I really do love the design of the ce4's and I wanna like em but after that experience Im afraid. From there I moved on to T3's and bottom coils in general.... probably why i havent given a second thought to the ce4's.

Thanks for the info guys, looks like the leak was user error  filled it up a little too much, once the level dropped, the leaking stopped. I got this as part of a kit I bought as well, seems to be a nice little clearo, my usual is the mini nova and I have a carto tank as well. My T3 seems to be terminal, I do like the clearo, especially the added capacity but it has leaked like a champ since I got it, even when not in use! So I haven't bought another. Was trying this out as a 'spare' really, just something to put in a corner and know that it works should all else fail!

It appears to be a big ol' game of luck for me at least. I hear and read "the ce4 is great u need this U BUY NOW" I buy and get .... cheeks. T3's I see more bad than good reviews/experiences, got one as a freebie loved it bought 2 more they all work great no burnt taste no leaking.

I have to agree on feeling the same about my luck with these things as well, been vaping for a month, and have so far accumulated 2 mini novas, T3, CE4, 306 dripping atty, DC carto tank, single coil cartos for the tank, standard cartos, and I'm probably missing something or other! Seems like I have bad experiences with stuff that others feel is great, and good with stuff that others feel is terrible. Just goes to show it's horses for courses I suppose! (Totally in love with the dripping atty tho!)

The CE4+, CE5, Stardust are replaceable coil, various resistances available. Yah, the older CE4 did not have replaceable coils.

I have a half dozen in rotation, different juices, and leaking is seldom an issue. I have had a couple leak / seep a little around the chrome ring that is permanently fastened to the tube, starting with the first fill, but have generally had good luck with them. Manufacturing defects do happen.

Once filled, you need to let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes for the wicks to soak in all the good stuff.

But for "fool proof" backup? Get another carto tank :)

The points at which they'll leak:
-head is unscrewed and silicon O- Ring not sealing to the airway- happens from unscrewing drip tip to fill- re-tighten head
-silicon cap under drip tip has dropped and is not connecting/ sealing with drip tip- try pulling the cap up a touch
-base- sometimes the base becomes slightly disconnected form the tank- click back into place.
Myself I switched a long time ago to the Vision Vivi because of the superior build quality.
